²⁰ He lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said: "Blessed are you poor, for yours is the kingdom of God. ²¹ Blessed are you who hunger now, for you shall be satisfied. Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh.

¹² Rejoice in your hope, be patient in tribulation, be faithful in prayer.

¹¹ And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

¹⁸ There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. And he who fears is not made perfect in love.

⁴⁴ And all who believed were together and had all things in common;

⁸ For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God

¹⁵ Be careful, then, how you walk, not as unwise men, but as wise, ¹⁶ making the most of your time, because the days are evil. ¹⁷ Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. ¹⁸ And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but be filled with the Spirit,

¹⁷ Therefore, if any one is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has passed away, behold, the new has come.
