Psalms 146:3-10

3 Do not trust in patrons, In a son of humanity with whom there is no salvation." 4 His spirit shall go forth, and he shall return to his ground; In that day his reflections perish." 5 Happy is he who has the El of Jacob as his Help; His hopefulness is set on Yahweh his Elohim, 6 Maker of the heavens and earth, The sea and all that is in them, The Guardian of truth for the eons;" 7 He is the One executing right judgment for those being exploited, The Giver of bread to the famished, Yahweh, letting loose those who are bound, 8 Yahweh, unclosing the eyes of the blind, Yahweh, making erect those who are bent down, Yahweh, loving those who are righteous, 9 Yahweh, Guardian over the sojourners; The orphan and the widow shall He bolster up, Yet the way of the wicked shall He overturn." 10 Yahweh shall reign for the eon, Your Elohim, O Zion, for generation after generation. Praise Yah."

Daniel 2:21

21 He is altering the eras and the stated times, causing kings to pass away and causing kings to rise, granting wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those knowing understanding."

1 Timothy 2:1-2

1 I am entreating, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, pleadings, thanksgiving be made for all mankind, 2 for kings and all those being in a superior station, that we may be leading a mild and quiet life in all devoutness and gravity,

Deuteronomy 17:14-20

14 When you come to the land that Yahweh your Elohim is giving to you, and you tenant it and dwell in it, and you say:Let me set a king over me like all the nations who are around me, 15 then you shall set, yea set over you a king whom Yahweh your Elohim shall choose. From among your brothers shall you set a king over you. You cannot put over you a foreign man who is not of your brothers. 16 But he shall neither increase horses for himself nor cause his people to return to Egypt in order to get many more horses, for Yahweh, He has said to you:You should not again return in this way further. 17 He shall neither increase wives for himself, that his heart may not withdraw, nor increase silver and gold for himself to excess. 18 It will come to be when he is seated on the throne of his kingdom, that he will write for himself a duplicate of this law on a scroll from the one before the priests, the Levites. 19 And it will be with him, and he will read in it all the days of his life that he may learn:to fear Yahweh your Elohim, to observe all the words of this law and these statutes to obey them, 20 by no means to exalt his heart above his brothers and by no means to withdraw from the instruction, neither to the right nor left, so that he may prolong his days on the throne of his kingdom, he and his sons among Israel.

Proverbs 29:2

2 When the righteous increase, the people rejoice, Yet when the wicked man rules, the people sigh."

Exodus 18:17-21

17 The father-in-law of Moses said to him: The thing which you are doing is not good. 18 You are wearing out, yea wearing out both yourself and this people who are with you, for this matter is too heavy for you. You cannot do it by yourself alone. 19 Now, hearken to my voice. Let me counsel you, and may Elohim come to be with you. Be you for the people toward the One, Elohim, and you bring the matters to the One, Elohim. 20 You will warn them with the statutes and the laws and make known to them the way in which they shall go and the deeds which they shall do. 21 Now you shall perceive among all the people men of ability, fearful of Elohim, men of truth, hating gain. You will place these over them as chiefs of thousands, chiefs of hundreds, chiefs of fifties and chiefs of tens.

Ecclesiastes 10:2

2 The heart of the wise man inclines to his right, Yet the heart of the stupid man to his left."

Romans 13:1

1 Let every soul be subject to the superior authorities, for there is no authority except under God. Now those which are, have been set under God,

Titus 3:1-11

1 Remind them to be subject to sovereignties, to authorities; to be yielding, and to be ready for every good work, 2 to be calumniating no one, to be pacific, lenient, displaying all meekness toward all humanity." 3 For we also were once foolish, stubborn, deceived, slaves of various desires and gratifications, leading a life in malice and envy, detestable, hating one another." 4 Yet when the kindness and fondness for humanity of our Saviour, God, made its advent, 5 not for works which are wrought in righteousness which we do, but according to His mercy, He saves us, through the bath of renascence and renewal of holy spirit, 6 which He pours out on us richly through Jesus Christ, our Saviour, 7 that, being justified in that One's grace, we may be becoming enjoyers, in expectation, of the allotment of life eonian." 8 Faithful is the saying, and I am intending you to be insistent concerning these things, that those who have believed God may be concerned to preside for ideal acts. These things are ideal and beneficial for humanity." 9 Yet stand aloof from stupid questioning and genealogies and strifes and fightings about law, for they are without benefit and vain." 10 A sectarian man, after one and a second admonition, refuse, 11 being aware that such a one has turned himself out, and is sinning, being self-condemned."

Romans 13:1-14

1 Let every soul be subject to the superior authorities, for there is no authority except under God. Now those which are, have been set under God, 2 so that he who is resisting an authority has withstood God's mandate. Now those who have withstood, will be getting judgment for themselves, 3 for magistrates are not a fear to the good act, but to the evil. Now you do not want to be fearing the authority. Do good, and you will be having applause from it." 4 For it is God's servant for your good. Now if you should be doing evil, fear, for not feignedly is it wearing the sword. For it is God's servant, an avenger for indignation to him who is committing evil." 5 Wherefore it is necessary to be subject, not only because of indignation, but also because of conscience." 6 For therefore you are settling taxes also, for they are God's ministers, perpetuated for this self-same thing." 7 Render to all their dues, to whom tax, tax, to whom tribute, tribute, to whom fear, fear, to whom honor, honor." 8 To no one owe anything, except to be loving one another, for he who is loving another has fulfilled law." 9 For this: "You shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not testify falsely, you shall not covet, and if there is any other precept, it is summed up in this saying, in this: "You shall love your associate as yourself." 10 Love is not working evil to an associate. The complement, then, of law, is love." 11 This, also, do, being aware of the era, that it is already the hour for us to be roused out of sleep, for now is our salvation nearer than when we believe." 12 The night progresses, yet the day is near. We, then, should be putting off the acts of darkness, yet should be putting on the implements of light." 13 As in the day, respectably, should we be walking, not in revelries and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and jealousy, 14 but put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and be making no provision for the lusts of the flesh."

Deuteronomy 1:13

13 Grant yourselves men wise and understanding, and known to your tribes, that I may place them as your heads.
