¹ And it comes to pass after the death of Moses, servant of Yahweh, that Yahweh speaks unto Joshua son of Nun, minister of Moses, saying, ² `Moses my servant is dead, and now, rise, pass over this Jordan, you, and all this people, unto the land which I am giving to them, to the sons of Israel. <sup>3</sup> `Every place on which the sole of your foot treads, to you I have given it, as I have spoken unto Moses. ⁴ From this wilderness and Lebanon, and unto the great river, the river Phrath, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great Sea--the going in of the sun--is your border. ⁵ `No man does station himself before you all days of your life; as I have been with Moses, I am with you, I do not fail you, nor forsake you;" <sup>6</sup> be strong and courageous, for you--you do cause this people to inherit the land which I have sworn to their fathers to give to them. <sup>7</sup> `Only, be strong and very courageous, to observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; you do not turn aside from it right or left, so that you do act wisely in every [place] whither you go;" ⁸ the book of this law does not depart out of your mouth, and you have meditated in it by day and by night, so that you do observe to do according to all that is written in it, for then you do cause your way to prosper, and then you do act wisely. ⁹ `Have not I commanded you? be strong and courageous; be not terrified nor affrighted, for with you [is] Yahweh your Elohim in every [place] whither you go.. <sup>10</sup> And Joshua commands the authorities of the people, saying, <sup>11</sup> `Pass over into the midst of the camp, and command the people, saying, Prepare for yourselves provision, for within three days you are passing over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which Yahweh your Elohim is giving to you to possess it.. ¹² And to the Reubenite, and to the Gadite, and to the half of the tribe of Manasseh, has Joshua spoken, saying, ¹³ `Remember the word which Moses, servant of Yahweh, commanded you, saying, Yahweh your Elohim is giving rest to you, and He has given to you this land;" <sup>14</sup> your wives, your infants, and your substance, abide in the land which Moses has given to you beyond the Jordan, and you--you pass over by fifties, before your brethren, all the mighty ones of valor, and have helped them, <sup>15</sup> till that Yahweh gives rest to your brethren as to yourselves, and they have possessed, even they, the land which Yahweh your Elohim is giving to them; then you have turned back to the land of your possession, and have possessed it, which Moses, servant of Yahweh, has given to you beyond the Jordan, [at] the sun-rising.. <sup>16</sup> And they answer Joshua, saying, `All that you have commanded us we do; and unto every [place] whither you do send us, we go;" ¹⁷ according to all that we hearkened unto Moses [in], so we hearken unto you; surely Yahweh your Elohim is with you as He has been with Moses. ¹⁸ Any man who does provoke your mouth, and does not hear your words, in all that you do command him, is put to death; only, be strong and courageous..

¹⁰ And David lies down with his fathers, and is buried in the city of David,

¹ {A Davidic Psalm{ Yahweh is my Shepherd; Nothing shall I lack. ² In verdant oases, He is making me recline; Beside restful waters, He is conducting me." ³ He is restoring my soul; He is guiding me in the routes of righteousness, on account of His Name." ⁴ Even though I should walk in the ravine of blackest shadow, I shall not fear evil, For You are with me; Your club and Your staff, they are comforting me." ⁵ You are arranging a table before me in front of my foes; You have sleeked my head with oil; My cup is satiated. ⁶ Yea, goodness and benignity, they shall pursue me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the House of Yahweh for the length of my days."

¹² So make us know how to assign our days, That we may come to a heart of wisdom."

¹ Thus says Yahweh, "The heavens are My throne, and the earth is My footstool. Where is this house which you are building for Me? And where is this place of My rest? ² Yet all these were made by My hand, and all these are coming to be Mine,averring is Yahweh. "Yet to this one will I look:to the humble and smitten spirit, and he who trembles at My word." ³ Yet the wicked one-- the slaying of a bull, to Me is as smiting a man, sacrificing a flockling is as breaking the neck of a cur, bringing up an approach present is as the blood of a swine, making a memorial of frankincense is as blessing lawlessness. Moreover, they choose their own ways, and in their abominations their soul delights." ⁴ Moreover, I, I will choose among their unweaned, and their shrinking ones will I bring to them, because I called and there was no answer, I spoke and they did not hearken. And they are doing evil in My eyes, and what I do not desire, that they choose." ⁵ Hear the word of Yahweh, you who tremble at His word, "Say do your brethren, who are hating you, who are isolating you on account of My name, `Yahweh will be glorified!' Yet He will appear in your rejoicing, and they shall be ashamed." ⁶ A sound of tumult from the city! A sound from the temple! The voice of Yahweh repaying requital to His enemies! ⁷ Ere she is travailing, she bears. Ere a cramp is coming to her, then she causes the escape of a male." ⁸ Who has heard a thing as this? And who has seen things as these? Will the land travail in one day? Should a nation be born at one time? For she travails. Moreover, Zion is bearing her sons." ⁹ Am I causing to hope, and not begetting?saying is Yahweh. "Should I be begetting, then restrain?says your Elohim." ¹⁰ Rejoice with Jerusalem, and exult in her, all who love her. Be elated with her with elation, all who mourn over her." ¹¹ That you may suck and be satisfied from the breasts of her consolations, that you may squeeze and enjoy the deliciousness of the udder of her glory." ¹² For thus says Yahweh, "Behold Me stretching out welfare to her, as a stream, and, as a watercourse overflowing, the glory of the nations. And suck do you. On the side are you being borne, and on the knees are you being dandled." ¹³ As a man whom his mother is comforting, so will I comfort you. And in Jerusalem shall you be comforted." ¹⁴ And you see it, and your heart is elated, and your bones, as verdure, shall bud, and the hand of Yahweh shall be known with His servants, yet it menaces His enemies." ¹⁵ For, behold! Yahweh shall come with fire! And as a sweeping whirlwind are His chariots, to return with fury, His anger, and His rebuke in blazes of fire." ¹⁶ For with fire Yahweh shall come to judge the entire earth, and by His sword all flesh; and multitudinous are the wounded of Yahweh!" ¹⁷ The self-sanctified and the self-cleansed to the gardens follow one by one in the portals, eating the flesh of swine, and the roamer and the mouse. They shall be swept up together,averring is Yahweh." ¹⁸ And I know their deeds and their devices! I will come to convene all the nations and the tongues. And they come and see My glory." ¹⁹ And I place among them a sign, and I send, from those delivered, to the nations, to Tharshish and Pul and Lud and Meshech and Quesheth, Tubal and Javan, and the coastlands afar, who have not heard of My fame, nor have seen My glory. And they tell of My glory, among the nations." ²⁰ And they bring all your brethren from all the nations as an approach present to Yahweh, on horses, and in chariots, and in coaches, and on mules, and in saddle baskets, to My holy mountain, Jerusalem,says Yahweh, "As the sons of Israel are bringing their approach present in a clean vessel to the house of Yahweh." ²¹ And moreover, from them, to Me will I take for priests and for Levites,says Yahweh." ²² For as the new heavens and the new earth which I will make, will stand before Me,averring is Yahweh, "So stand shall your seed and your name." ²³ And it comes, according to the monthly quota in its month, and according to the sabbath quota in its sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before Me in Jerusalem,says Yahweh." ²⁴ And they fare forth and see the corpses of the mortals, the transgressors against Me, for their worm shall not die, and their fire shall not be quenched, and they become a repulsion to all flesh."

²⁸ Marvel not at this, for coming is the hour in which all who are in the tombs shall hear His voice, ²⁹ and those who do good shall go out into a resurrection of life, yet those who commit bad things, into a resurrection of judging."

¹⁶ For thus God loves the world, so that He gives His only-begotten Son, that everyone who is believing in Him should not be perishing, but may be having life eonian."

¹⁶ for the Lord Himself will be descending from heaven with a shout of command, with the voice of the Chief Messenger, and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ shall be rising first,

¹⁶ All scripture is inspired by God, and is beneficial for teaching, for exposure, for correction, for discipline in righteousness,

²¹ '"The one who is conquering, to him will I be granting to be seated with Me on My throne as I, also, conquer, and am seated with My Father on His throne."

²² And, except those days were discounted, no flesh at all would be saved. Yet, because of the chosen, those days shall be discounted."

¹ And it comes to pass, when all the nation has completed to pass over the Jordan, that Yahweh speaks unto Joshua, saying, ² `Take for you out of the people twelve men, one man--one man out of a tribe;" <sup>3</sup> and command you them, saying, Take up for you from this [place], from the midst of the Jordan, from the established standing-place of the feet of the priests, twelve stones, and you have removed them over with you, and placed them in the lodging-place in which you lodge to-night.. <sup>4</sup> And Joshua calls unto the twelve men whom he prepared out of the sons of Israel, one man--one man out of a tribe;" <sup>5</sup> and Joshua said to them, `Pass over before the ark of Yahweh your Elohim unto the midst of the Jordan and lift up for you each, one stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Israel, ⁶ so that this is a sign in your midst, when your children ask hereafter, saying, What [are] these stones to you? ⁷ that you have said to them, Because the waters of the Jordan were cut off, at the presence of the ark of the covenant of Yahweh; in its passing over into the Jordan were the waters of the Jordan cut off; and these stones have been for a memorial to the sons of Israel--to the eon..

²⁹ Men! Brethren! Allow me to say to you with boldness concerning the patriarch David, that he deceases also and was entombed, and his tomb is among us until this day."

¹⁷ And he said, `What [is] this sign that I see?' and the men of the city say unto him, `The grave of the man of Elohim who has come from Judah, and proclaims these things that you have done concerning the altar of Beth-El..
