¹ {An Asaphic Psalm{ My voice went forth to Elohim; let me cry out; My voice went forth to Elohim that He would give ear to me. ² In the day of my distress I sought after Yahweh; At night my hand was stirred up in prayer, And it would not give way; My soul refused to be consoled." ³ I remembered Elohim, yet I was discomfited; I meditated, yet my spirit drooped. {Interlude{ " ⁴ You held open the guardians of my eyes; I was agitated, and I could not speak." ⁵ I took account of the days from aforetime, The years of the eons, saying, ⁶ Let me remember my soliloquy in the night; Let me meditate with my heart. So my spirit searched, saying, ⁷ Shall Yahweh cast off for the eons, And shall He not continue to be benevolent any more? ⁸ Has His benignity reached its limit permanently? Has the promise reached an end for generation after generation? ⁹ Has El forgotten to be gracious? Or has He shut off His compassions in anger? {Interlude{ ¹⁰ Yet I am saying, This is the ground of my beseeching:The years of the right hand of the Supreme;" ¹¹ I shall remember all the activity of Yah; Indeed I shall remember Your marvelous works from aforetime. ¹² Thus I soliloquize on all Your deeds, And on all Your activity, let me meditate." ¹³ O Elohim, Your way is in holiness; Who is a great El like our Elohim? ¹⁴ You are the El Who performed a marvel; You made Your strength known among the peoples. ¹⁵ With Your arm of power You redeemed Your people, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. {Interlude{ " ¹⁶ The waters saw You, O Elohim; The waters saw You, and they travailed; Indeed the abyss was disturbed." ¹⁷ Thick clouds were made to storm down waters; The skies cast forth their voice; Indeed Your arrows flew about. ¹⁸ The voice of Your thunder was in the cyclone; Lightning bolts lit up the habitance; The earth was disturbed and quaked. ¹⁹ Your way was through the sea, And Your trails led through vast waters, Yet Your heel-prints were not known." ²⁰ You guided Your people like a flock, By the hand of Moses and Aaron."

⁵⁵ I remember Your Name in the night, O Yahweh, That I may keep Your law."

¹ I am inquired of by those who had not asked for Me. I am found by those who did not seek Me. I say, `Behold Me!' to a nation not calling My name." <sup>2</sup> I spread out My hands all the day to a stubborn and contentious people, those going the way which is not good, after their own devices, <sup>3</sup> the people who are vexing Me to My face continually, they who are sacrificing in gardens, and fuming incense on bricks to demons, <sup>4</sup> who dwell in the tombs, and among the rocks are lodging because of dreams, who are eating the flesh of swine, and the broth of vile sacrifices is in their vessels, <sup>5</sup> who are saying, `Keep near to yourself! You must not come close to me, for I am holier than you.' These are a smoke in My nose, a fire which is glowing all the day." ⁶ Behold! It is written before Me, I will not hush, save I repay. And I repay into their bosoms, ⁷ your depravities and the depravities of your forefathers together,says Yahweh, "Who fume incense on the mountains, and on the hills defy Me; and I measure their wage first into their bosom." ⁸ Thus says Yahweh, "As when finding the grape juice in the cluster, and it is said, `You must not ruin it, for a blessing is in it,' so am I doing on account of My servants, to avoid the ruin of the whole." ⁹ And I bring forth from Jacob a seed, and from Judah a tenant of My holy mountain, and tenant it shall My chosen, and My servants shall tabernacle there." ¹⁰ And Sharon shall become a homestead for a flock, and the vale of Achar for reclining a herd, for My people who inquire of Me." ¹¹ And you who are forsaking Yahweh, forgetting My holy mountain, arranging for Gad a table, and filling for Minni a blend;" ¹² I count you for the sword, and all of you for slaughter shall be hacked down. Because I called, yet you did not answer, I spoke, yet you did not hearken. And you are doing evil in My eyes. And what I do not desire, that you choose." ¹³ Therefore, thus says my Lord Yahweh, "Behold! My servants shall eat, yet you shall be famished. Behold! My servants shall drink, yet you shall thirst. Behold! My servants shall rejoice, yet you shall be ashamed." ¹⁴ Behold! My servants shall jubilate from a good heart, yet you shall cry from pain of heart, and from breaking of spirit shall you howl." ¹⁵ And you leave your name for an oath to My chosen.And you are put to death by my Lord Yahweh; yet He shall call His servants by another name." ¹⁶ The one blessing himself in the land, shall bless himself by the Elohim of truth, and the one swearing in the land, shall swear by the Elohim of truth. "For forgotten are the former distresses, for they are concealed also from My eyes." ¹⁷ For, behold Me creating new heavens and a new earth, and the former shall not be remembered, nor shall they come upon the heart." ¹⁸ But rather be elated, and exult, in the futures of the future which I will create, for, behold Me creating Jerusalem an exultation, and her people an elation." ¹⁹ And I exult in Jerusalem, and I am elated in My people. And no longer shall the sound of lamentation be heard in it, and the sound of an outcry." ²⁰ And no longer shall there be thence a child of few days, or an old man who is not filling his days, for the youth will be a hundred years old, yet the one dying will be a sinner, a hundred years old; he shall be made light of." ²¹ And they build houses and dwell in them, and they plant vineyards, and eat their fruit." ²² They will not build, and another dwell; they will not plant, and another eat. For as the days of the tree of life are the days of My people, and their handiwork shall be worn out by My chosen." ²³ They shall not labor for naught, nor shall they generate for decadence. For the seed of the blessed of Yahweh are they, and their offspring with them." ²⁴ And it comes, ere they are calling, then I will answer; they are still speaking when I will hearken." ²⁵ Then a wolf and a lambkin will graze alike, and the lion, as the beeve, will eat crushed straw, and the serpent has soil for its bread. They will not do evil, nor ruin in all My holy mountain,says Yahweh."

⁶³ saying, "Lord, we are reminded that that deceiver said while still living, 'After three days shall I be roused.'"

¹⁹ And, taking bread, giving thanks, He breaks it and gives to them, saying, "Take. This is My body, given for your sakes. This do for a recollection of Me."

²⁵ These things have I spoken to you, remaining with you."

¹ James, a slave of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes in the dispersion. Rejoice!" ² All joy deem it, my brethren, whenever you should be falling into various trials, ³ knowing that the testing of your faith is producing endurance. ⁴ Now let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and unimpaired, lacking in nothing." ⁵ Now if anyone of you is lacking wisdom, let him be requesting it from God, Who is giving to all generously and is not reproaching, and it shall be given to him." ⁶ Yet let him be requesting in faith, doubting nothing, for he who is doubting simulates a surge of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed." ⁷ For let not that man be surmising that he shall be obtaining anything from the Lord - ⁸ a man double-souled, turbulent in all his ways." ⁹ Now let the humble brother be glorying in his exaltation, ¹⁰ yet the rich in his humiliation, for, as the flower of grass, shall he pass by." ¹¹ For the sun rises, together with the scorching heat, and withers the grass, and its flower falls off, and the comeliness of its aspect perished. Thus the rich also in his goings shall be caused to fade." ¹² Happy is the man who is enduring trial, for, becoming qualified, he will be obtaining the wreath of life, which He promises to those loving Him." ¹³ Let no one, undergoing trial, be saying that "From God am I undergoing trial,for God is not tried by evils, yet He is trying no one." ¹⁴ Now each one is undergoing trial when he is drawn away and lured by his own desire. ¹⁵ Thereafter, the desire, conceiving, is bringing forth sin. Now sin, fully consummated, is teeming forth death." ¹⁶ Be not deceived, my beloved brethren!" ¹⁷ All good giving and every perfect gratuity is from above, descending from the Father of lights, in Whom there is no mutation or shadow from revolving motion." ¹⁸ By intention, He teems forth us by the word of truth, for us to be some firstfruit of His own creatures." ¹⁹ Now you are aware, my beloved brethren! Yet let every man be swift to hear, tardy to speak, tardy to anger, ²⁰ for the anger of man is not working the righteousness of God. ²¹ Wherefore, putting off all filthiness and superabundance of evil, receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls." ²² Now become doers of the word, and not only listeners, beguiling yourselves." ²³ For if anyone is a listener to the word and not a doer, this one simulates a man considering the face he inherited in a mirror;" ²⁴ for he considers himself and has come away, and immediately forgot what kind he was." ²⁵ Now he who peers into the perfect law, that of freedom, and abides, not becoming a forgetful listener, but a doer of the work, this one will be happy in his doing." ²⁶ If anyone is seeming to be a ritualist, not bridling his tongue, but seducing his heart, the ritual of this one is vain, ²⁷ for ritual clean and undefiled with God the Father is this: to be visiting the bereaved and widowed in their affliction, to be keeping oneself unspotted from the world."

⁹ `Have not I commanded you? be strong and courageous; be not terrified nor affrighted, for with you [is] Yahweh your Elohim in every [place] whither you go..

⁹ Remember the first things from the eon, for I am the El, and there is no further Elohim, and the limit is as Me."

²⁵ Similarly, the cup also, after dining, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you are drinking, for a recollection of Me."

¹⁵ Consequently, then, brethren, stand firm, and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, whether through word or our epistle."

¹⁵ Will a woman forget her child, not to have compassion on the son of her belly? Even if these a woman will forget, yet I will not forget you,says Yahweh." ¹⁶ Behold! On My palms I tattoo you, and your walls are in front of Me continually."

¹ Yet remember your Creator in the days of your prime, While the evil days have not yet come, Or the years attain to you when you shall say:There is no delight for me in them,

⁵ Remember, then, whence you have fallen, and repent, and do the former acts. Yet if not, I am coming to you, and shall be moving your lampstand out of its place, if ever you should not be repenting."

²⁴ and giving thanks, breaks it and said, "This is My body, broken for your sakes. This do for a recollection of Me."

³⁵ All I intimate to you, that, thus toiling, you must be supporting the infirm. Besides, remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, 'Happy is it to give rather than to get.'"

² And remember all the way which Yahweh your Elohim caused you to go these forty years in the wilderness, that He might make you humble, to probe you so as to know what is in your heart, whether or not you shall observe His instructions.

² Now I am applauding you that you remember all of mine, and are retaining the traditions according as I give them over to you."

¹² then guard yourself, lest you should forget Yahweh your Elohim Who brought you forth from the country of Egypt, from the house of servants.
