¹⁰ There shall not be found among you one causing his son or his daughter to pass through fire, or one divining divinations, or consulting clouds, auguring or enchantin. ¹¹ or charming with charms, one asking of a medium or wizard or inquiring after the dead. ¹² For anyone doing these things is an abhorrence to Yahweh your Elohim, and owing to these abhorrences Yahweh your Elohim is evicting them from your presence.

⁹ When you come to the land that Yahweh your Elohim is giving to you, you shall not learn to act according to the abhorrences of those nations. ¹⁰ There shall not be found among you one causing his son or his daughter to pass through fire, or one divining divinations, or consulting clouds, auguring or enchantin. ¹¹ or charming with charms, one asking of a medium or wizard or inquiring after the dead. ¹² For anyone doing these things is an abhorrence to Yahweh your Elohim, and owing to these abhorrences Yahweh your Elohim is evicting them from your presence. ¹³ Flawless shall you come to be with Yahweh your Elohim. ¹⁴ For these nations in whose place you are tenanting, they hearken to cloud consulters and diviners. As for you, Yahweh your Elohim does not allow you to do so.

³ And void is the spirit of Egypt within it, and I will swallow up its counsel. And they inquire of the forbidden idols, and of the ventriloquists, and of the mediums and of the wizards."

¹³ Yet whenever that may be coming - the spirit of truth -it will be guiding you into all the truth, for it will not be speaking from itself, but whatsoever it should be hearing will it be speaking, and of what is coming will it be informing you."

¹⁴ And no marvel, for Satan himself is being transfigured into a messenger of light. "

² and not to be configured to this eon, but to be transformed by the renewing of your mind, for you to be testing what is the will of God, good and well pleasing and perfect."

¹⁴ Now the soulish man is not receiving those things which are of the spirit of God, for they are stupidity to him, and he is not able to know them, seeing that they are spiritually examined."

¹ Now the spirit is saying explicitly, that in subsequent eras some will be withdrawing from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and the teachings of demons,

⁹ Everyone who is taking the lead and not remaining in the teaching of Christ has not God. He who is remaining in the teaching, this one has the Father as well as the Son." ¹⁰ If anyone is coming to you and is not bringing this teaching, be not taking him into your home, and say not to him, "Rejoice!" ¹¹ For he who is saying to him to be rejoicing is participating in his wicked acts.

¹⁵ Outside are curs, and enchanters, and paramours, and murderers, and idolaters, and everyone fabricating and fondling falsehood."

²⁷ A man or a woman, in case there is a medium or a wizard among them, they shall be put to death, yea death. With stones shall they pelt them; their bloodguilt is on them.

⁷ And Saul said to his servants, `Seek for me a woman possessing a familiar spirit, and I go unto her, and inquire of her;' and his servants say unto him, `Lo, a woman possessing a familiar spirit in En-dor.. ⁸ And Saul disguises himself and puts on other garments, and goes, he and two of the men with him, and they come in unto the woman by night, and he said, `Divine, I pray you, to me by the familiar spirit, and cause to come up to me him whom I say unto you.. <sup>9</sup> And the woman said unto him, `Lo, you have known that which Saul has done, that he has cut off those having familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land; and why are you laying a snare for my soul--to put me to death?. ¹⁰ And Saul swears to her by Yahweh, saying, `Yahweh lives, punishment does not meet you for this thing.. <sup>11</sup> And the woman said, `Whom do I bring up to you?' and he said, `Samuel--bring up to me.. <sup>12</sup> And the woman sees Samuel, and cries with a loud voice, and the woman speaks unto Saul, saying, `Why have you deceived me--and you Saul?. ¹³ And the king said to her, `Do not fear; for what have you seen?' and the woman said unto Saul, `Elohims I have seen coming up out of the earth.. ¹⁴ And he said to her, `What [is] his form?' and she said, `An aged man is coming up, and he [is] covered with an upper robe;' and Saul knows that he [is] Samuel, and bows--face to you earth--and does obeisance. ¹⁵ And Samuel said unto Saul, `Why have you troubled me, to bring me up?' And Saul said, `I have great distress, and the Philistines are fighting against me, Elohim has turned aside from me, and has not answered me any more, either by the hand of the prophets, or by dreams; and I call for you to let me know what I do.. ¹⁶ And Samuel said, `And why do you ask me, and Yahweh has turned aside from you, and is your enemy? ¹⁷ And Yahweh does for Himself as He has spoken by my hand, and Yahweh rends the kingdom out of your hand, and gives it to your neighbor--to David. ¹⁸ Because you have not hearkened to the voice of Yahweh, nor did the fierceness of His anger on Amalek--therefore this thing has Yahweh done to you this day;" ¹⁹ yea, Yahweh gives also Israel with you into the hand of the Philistines, and tomorrow you and your sons [are] with me; also the camp of Israel does Yahweh give into the hand of the Philistines..

¹³ And Saul dies because of his trespass that he trespassed against Yahweh, against the word of Yahweh that he kept not, and also for asking at a familiar spirit--to inquire, -.

⁸ Yet the timid, and unbelievers, and the abominable, and murderers, and paramours, and enchanters, and idolaters, and all the false-their part is in the lake burning with fire and sulphur, which is the second death."

⁶ As for the soul who should countenance mediums and wizards to prostitute after them, I will set My face against that soul also and cut him off from among his people.

⁶ and he has caused his son to pass through fire, and observed clouds, and used enchantment, and dealt with a familiar spirit and wizards; he has multiplied to do the evil thing in the eyes of Yahweh--to provoke to anger.

¹⁹ And in case they shall say to you, "Inquire of the mediums, and of the ventriloquists, and of the wizards, the chirpers and the cooers,Should not a people of its Elohim inquire? Who inquires about the living of the dead?

¹ Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are of God, for many false prophets have come out into the world."

³¹ Do not countenance mediums and wizards; do not seek them out to be defiled by them:I, Yahweh am your Elohim.
