¹⁶ You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

⁵⁶ Blessed be the Lord this day, who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He said: there has not failed one word among all His good words which He spoke by the hand of His servant Moses.

⁶ Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

³⁵ If He called those gods, to whom the word of God came (and the Scripture cannot be broken),

¹ Therefore, brothers, I exhort you through the compassions of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, well pleasing to God, which is your intelligent service. ² And do not fashion yourselves after this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and well pleasing and perfect will of God. ³ For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself too highly, beyond what you should think, but to think soberly, as God has imparted to each one a measure of faith. ⁴ For just as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, ⁵ so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. ⁶ Having then gifts differing according to the grace having been given to us, let us use them: whether prophecy, let us prophecy according to the proportion of faith; ⁷ whether ministry, let us use it in our ministry; whether teaching; in the teaching; ⁸ whether exhorting, in the exhortation; whether sharing, with simplicity; whether leading, with diligence; whether showing mercy, with cheerfulness. ⁹ Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil. Cling to that which is good. ¹⁰ Be warmly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor preferring one another; ¹¹ not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; ¹² rejoicing in hope, enduring in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; ¹³ sharing in the needs of the saints, pursuing hospitality. ¹⁴ Bless those that persecute you; bless and do not curse. ¹⁵ Rejoice with those that rejoice, and weep with those that weep. ¹⁶ Be of the same mind toward one another. Not minding the high things, but associating with the humble. Do not become wise in your own opinion. ¹⁷ Repay no one evil for evil; providing that which is good before all men. ¹⁸ If possible, as much as depends on you, keeping peace with all men. ¹⁹ Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance is Mine, I will repay," says the Lord. ²⁰ Therefore "If your enemy should hunger, feed him; if he should thirst, give him drink; for by doing this you will heap coals of fire upon his head." ²¹ Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

¹⁵ but speaking the truth in love, we may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Christ; ¹⁶ from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the working of the measure of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the edification of itself in love.

¹⁶ For we did not follow craftily devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but rather became eyewitnesses of His majesty.

¹⁹ God is not as a man that He should waver, nor as a son of man that He should be threatened; shall He say and not perform? Shall He speak and not keep His word?

¹⁵ But that which fell on the good ground, these are such who when they heard the word, with a noble and good heart, hold on to it and bear fruit with endurance.

⁴³ Why do you not understand what I say? Because you are unable to hear My word. ⁴⁴ You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you desire to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has not stood in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he tells a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar, and the father of lies. ⁴⁵ But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me. ⁴⁶ Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the truth, why do you not believe Me? ⁴⁷ He who is of God hears God's words; therefore you do not hear them, because you are not of God."

¹⁸ But those things which proceed out of the mouth come from the heart, and they defile a man. ¹⁹ For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. ²⁰ These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man."

²⁶ He that trusts to a bold heart, such a one is a fool: but he that walks in wisdom shall be safe.

¹⁷ Sanctify them by Your truth; Your word is truth.

¹⁶ For he rejoices in all things which God hates, and he is ruined by reason of impurity of soul. ¹⁷ The eye of the haughty, an unjust tongue, hands shedding innocent blood, ¹⁸ a heart devising evil thoughts, and feet hastening to do evil, are hateful to God. ¹⁹ An unjust witness kindles falsehoods, and brings on quarrels between brothers.

⁹ And I say to you, make friends for yourselves by the mammon of unrighteousness, so that whenever you fail, they may receive you into the eternal dwellings. ¹⁰ He that is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he that is unjust in what is least is also unjust in much. ¹¹ Therefore if you were not faithful with the unrighteous mammon, who will entrust to you what is genuine? ¹² And if you were not faithful in what belongs to another, who will give to you what is yours? ¹³ No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon." ¹⁴ Now the Pharisees, who were lovers of money, were hearing all these things, and they were mocking Him. ¹⁵ And He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves before men, but God knows your hearts. Because that which is exalted among men is an abomination before God.

¹³ A double-tongued man discloses the secret counsels of an assembly, but he that is faithful in spirit conceals matters.

⁹ Do not lie to one another, since you have stripped off the old man with his practices, ¹⁰ and have put on the new man who is renewed in full knowledge according to the image of Him who created it,
