¹⁹ Remember me, O God, for good, in all that I have done to this people.

²⁸ For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not first sit down and count up the cost, whether he has the resources to complete it?

¹⁰ For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

²⁵ I was once young, indeed I am now old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed seeking bread.

¹ To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven. ² A time to give birth, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what has been planted; ³ a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to pull down, and a time to build up; ⁴ a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to lament, and a time to dance; ⁵ a time to throw stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; ⁶ a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; ⁷ a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to be silent, and a time to speak; ⁸ a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. ⁹ What advantage has he that works in those things in which he labors? ¹⁰ I have seen all the trouble, which God has given to the sons of men to be burdened with.

¹⁶ And look upon Your servants, and upon Your works; and guide their children. ¹⁷ And let the brightness of the Lord our God be upon us; and establish for us the works of our hands.

³³ Sell your possessions and give alms; make for yourselves money bags which do not grow old, an unfailing treasure in the heavens, where a thief does not come near, nor does a moth destroy. ³⁴ For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

⁶ having been persuaded of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus;

¹⁷ Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to put their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God, who provides all things richly for us to enjoy, ¹⁸ to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, sharing, ¹⁹ storing up for yourselves a good foundation for the future, that they may lay hold of eternal life.

²² A good man shall inherit children's children, and the wealth of ungodly men is laid up for the just.

¹² The righteous shall flourish as a palmtree; he shall be increased as the cedar in Lebanon. ¹³ They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. ¹⁴ Then shall they be increased in a fine old age; and they shall be prosperous; that they may declare

¹⁹ "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on the earth, where moth and rust corrupt, and where thieves dig through and steal; ²⁰ but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust corrupts, and where thieves do not dig through and steal. ²¹ For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

¹⁶ Then He told a parable to them, saying: "The field of a certain rich man produced well. ¹⁷ And he reasoned within himself, saying, 'What shall I do, because I have nowhere to gather my crops?' ¹⁸ So he said, 'I will do this: I will tear down my barns and I will build bigger ones, and there I will gather all my crops and my goods. ¹⁹ And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid away for many years; relax; eat, drink, and be merry." ' ²⁰ But God said to him, 'You fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have prepared?' ²¹ So is he who accumulates treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."

⁷ I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

²³ And it happened, as soon as the days of his service were fulfilled, that he went away to his house.

²³ And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, ²⁴ This is the ordinance for the Levites: From twenty-five years old and upward, they shall go in to minister in the tabernacle of witness. ²⁵ And from fifty years old the Levites shall cease from the ministry, and shall not work any longer. ²⁶ And his brother shall serve in the tabernacle of witness to keep the charges, but he shall not do the works: so shall you do to the Levites in their charges.

²⁴ But I count myself as nothing; nor do I regard my life as valuable to myself, so that I may complete my course with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to bear solemn testimony to the gospel of the grace of God.

¹¹ And I will devise for you a plan of peace, and not evil, to bestow upon you these good things.
