⁶ And the Lord said, Behold, there is one race, and one language of all, and they have begun to do this, and now nothing shall fail from them of all that they have undertaken to do.

²⁷ And God made man, according to the image of God He made him, male and female He made them.

³ Behold, the inheritance of the Lord, children, the reward of the fruit of the womb. ⁴ As arrows in the hand of a mighty man; so are the children of those who were outcasts. ⁵ Blessed is the man who shall satisfy his desire with them; they shall not be ashamed when they shall speak to their enemies in the gates.

¹³ "Enter in through the narrow gate; because wide is the gate, and broad is the way which leads to destruction, and many are those who enter in through it. ¹⁴ How narrow the gate, and confined the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it!

¹⁹ Repent therefore and turn back, that your sins may be wiped away, in order that seasons of relaxation may come from the presence of the Lord, ²⁰ and that He may send He who had been ordained to be your Messiah, Jesus, ²¹ whom it is necessary for heaven to receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began.

¹⁰ The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

¹¹ And do this, knowing the time, that it is already the hour for us to be roused out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we believed.

⁹ But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God's own possession, that you may proclaim the excellent virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; ¹⁰ who formerly were not a people but now are the people of God, who had not received mercy, but now have received mercy.

²⁸ And God blessed them, saying, Increase and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the seas and flying creatures of heaven, and all the cattle and all the earth, and all the reptiles that creep on the earth.

¹⁰ For we are His handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

¹³ For You, O Lord, have possessed my reins; You have helped me from my mother's womb. ¹⁴ I will give You thanks; for You are fearfully wondrous; wondrous are Your works; and my soul knows it well. ¹⁵ My bones, which You made in secret, were not hidden from You, nor my substance, in the lowest parts of the earth. ¹⁶ Your eyes saw my unwrought substance, and all men shall be written in Your book; they shall be formed by day, though there should for a time be no one among them.

¹⁸ the eyes of your heart having been enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints,

²⁰ Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly more than all the things which we ask or think, according to the power which is working in us,

¹³ I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
