²⁶ He that trusts to a bold heart, such a one is a fool: but he that walks in wisdom shall be safe.

² And do not fashion yourselves after this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and well pleasing and perfect will of God.

²⁹ Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

¹ Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. ² By this the Spirit of God is known: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, ³ and every spirit which does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. ⁵ If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it shall be given to him. ⁶ But let him ask in faith, doubting nothing, for he that doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. ⁷ For let not that man suppose that he shall receive anything from the Lord; ⁸ he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

²⁷ Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

⁴ Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice! ⁵ Let your gentleness be known to all men. ⁸ I will both lie down in peace and sleep; for You alone, O Lord, have caused me to dwell securely.
