⁶ But if the watchman sees the sword coming, and does not sound the trumpet, and the people do not watch; and the sword comes, and takes a soul from among them, that soul is taken because of its iniquity; but the blood thereof will I require at the watchman' hand.

²¹ "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. ²² Many will say to Me in that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name we cast out demons, and in Your name we did many mighty works?' ²³ "And then I will confess to them, 'I never knew you! Depart from Me, you who work iniquity!'

³⁴ Then Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do." And dividing His garments, they cast lots.

¹⁷ Yet now, brothers, I know that according to ignorance you did this, as indeed also your rulers.

¹ Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

⁵ O you simple, understand prudence, and you that are untaught, take in knowledge.

⁵ If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it shall be given to him.

³ An intelligent man seeing a bad man severely punished is himself instructed, but fools pass by and are punished.

³⁰ So then these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now He commands all men everywhere to repent,

⁶ My people are like as if they had no knowledge: because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you, that you shall not minister as priest unto Me: and as you have forgotten the law of your God, I also will forget your children.

¹⁸ having been darkened in understanding, being estranged from the life of God, because of the ignorance which is in them, because of the hardness of their heart;
