2 preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all patience and teaching.
3 For there will be a time when they will not put up with sound doctrine, but according to their own lusts, they will heap up for themselves teachers, tickling their ears,
4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to myths.
5 You however be watchful in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
6 For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has arrived.
7 I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
8 Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not only to me, but also to all those who have loved His appearing.

1 So therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every impediment, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,

Romans 5:1-21
1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
2 through whom also we have had access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only that, but we also rejoice in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces endurance;
4 and endurance, character; and character, hope.
5 And hope does not put to shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
6 For when we were weak, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely on behalf of a righteous man will anyone die; yet on behalf of the good, perhaps someone might even dare to die.
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, having been justified now by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
10 For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death passed to all men, because all sinned--
13 (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who did not sin according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.
15 But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of one man many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to the many.
16 And the gift is not as by one having sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift from many offenses resulted in justification.
17 For if by the offense of the one man death reigned through the one man, much more those receiving the abundance of the grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore, as through one man's offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man's righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.
19 For through the disobedience of the one man the many were constituted sinners, so also through the obedience of the One many shall be constituted righteous.
20 But the law came in alongside, so that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace superabounded,
21 so that just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
