8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
Bible verses about "crying" | CAB
5 But He was wounded on account of our sins, and was bruised because of our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and by His stripes we are healed.
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. And there was no more sea. 2 Then I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, having been prepared like a bride having been adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them. 4 And He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying out; neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away." 5 Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." And He said to me, "Write, for these words are faithful and true." 6 And He said to me, " I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give from the spring of the water of life freely to him that is thirsty. 7 He that overcomes I shall give to him these things, and I shall be God to him, and he shall be to Me a son. 8 But the cowardly, and unbelieving, and sinners, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and drug users, and idolaters, and all who are false shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death." 9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls being full with the seven last plagues came to me and spoke with me, saying, "Come, I will show you the wife, the bride of the Lamb." 10 And he carried me away in spirit onto a great and high mountain, and he showed to me the holy city Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God. Its radiance was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal, 12 having a wall great and high, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel: 13 three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. 14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15 And he who spoke with me had a measure, a golden reed, so that he might measure the city, and its gates. 16 The city is laid out like a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal. 17 And its wall is one hundred and forty-four cubits, by the measure of a man, which is, of an angel. 18 And the construction of its wall was of jasper; and the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. 19 The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every precious stone: the first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates are twelve pearls: each one of the gates was made of one pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass. 22 But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty is its temple, also the Lamb. 23 The city had no need of the sun nor of the moon to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it, and its lamp is the Lamb. 24 And the nations shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth shall bring to it the glory and honor of the nations into it. 25 And its gates shall by no means be closed by day, for night shall not exist there. 26 And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it, so that they may enter. 27 But there shall by no means enter into it any common thing, and the one doing an abomination and a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
11 But Mary stood outside facing the tomb weeping. Therefore as she was weeping, she stooped down and looked into the tomb.
8 O God, I have declared my life to You; You have set my tears before You, even according to Your promise.
13 When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, "Do not weep."
26 And if one part suffers, all the parts suffer together; or if one part is honored, all the parts rejoice together.
1 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and I will receive you unto Myself; so that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I am going you know, and the way you know." 5 Thomas said to Him, "Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?" 6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 7 "If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; and from now on you know Him and you have seen Him." 8 Philip said to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it is sufficient for us." 9 Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you for so long a time, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He that has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'? 10 Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words which I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who abides in Me does the works. 11 Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me, but if not, believe Me for the sake of the works themselves. 12 "Most assuredly I say to you, he that believes in Me, the works which I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father. 13 And whatever you may ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you should ask anything in My name, I will do it. 15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. 16 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, so that He may abide with you forever, 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, because He abides with you and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you orphans; I am coming to you. 19 "Yet a little while and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. 20 In that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. 21 He that has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me shall be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will manifest Myself to him." 22 Judas (not Iscariot) said to Him, "Lord, and what has happened that You are about to manifest Yourself to us, and not to the world?" 23 Jesus answered and said to him, "If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and we will make Our home with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father's who sent Me. 25 "These things I have spoken to you while I remain. 26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and will remind you of all things which I said to you. 27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 28 You have heard that I said to you, 'I am going away and coming back to you.' If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced that I said, 'I am going to the Father,' for My Father is greater than I. 29 And now I have told you before it happens, so that whenever it may happen, you may believe. 30 I will no longer speak many things with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me. 31 But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father has charged Me, thus I do. Rise up, let us go from here.
35 Jesus wept.
10 Fear not; for I am with you; wander not; for I am your God, who has strengthened you; and I have helped you, and have established you with My righteous right hand.
4 And He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying out; neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things have passed away."
