Matthew 7:1-5

1 "Judge not, lest you be judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with what measure you measure, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not notice the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how will you say to your brother, 'Permit me to remove the speck from your eye'; and look, there is a plank in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother's eye.

Romans 5:3-5

3 And not only that, but we also rejoice in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces endurance; 4 and endurance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put to shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

James 1:12

12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation; because when he is approved, he shall receive the crown of life which the Lord promised to those who love Him.

James 1:2-4
