²⁸ For which of you, disposed to buylde a towre, sitteth not downe before, and counteth the cost, whether he haue sufficient to perfourme it

¹⁷ Therfore yf any man be in Christe, he is a newe creature. Olde thynges are passed awaye, beholde all thynges are become newe

¹ The Lorde is our refuge & strength: a helpe very easyly founde in troubles

²⁵ Heauinesse discourageth the heart of man: but a good worde maketh it glad agayne

¹⁰ A thiefe commeth not, but for to steale, kyll, & to destroy: I am come, that they myght haue lyfe, and that they myght haue it more aboundauntly

⁵ Put thy trust in God with all thine heart: & leane not vnto thine owne wit ⁶ In all thy wayes acknowledge him, and he shall order thy goynges

¹⁶ Beholde, I sende you foorth, as sheepe in the middest of woolfes. Be ye therfore wyse as serpentes, and harmelesse as doues

¹³ There hath no temptation taken you, but such as foloweth the nature of man: But God is faythfull, which shall not suffer you to be tempted aboue your strength: but shall with the temptation make away that ye maye be able to beare it

²⁸ For we knowe yt all thinges worke for the best, vnto them that loue God, to them which also are called of purpose

¹⁵ Moreouer, yf thy brother trespas agaynst thee, go and tell hym his faulte betwene thee and hym alone: If he heare thee, thou hast wonne thy brother ¹⁶ But yf he heare thee not, then take yet with thee one or two: that in the mouth of two or three witnesses, euery worde may be stablyshed ¹⁷ If he heare not them, tell it vnto the Churche: If he heare not the Churche, let hym be vnto thee as an Heathen man, and a publicane

³³ These wordes haue I spoken vnto you, that in me ye myght haue peace. For in the worlde shall ye haue tribulation: but be of good cheare, I haue ouercome the worlde
