⁷ As for you, O son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; so hear the word from My mouth and give them the warning from Me. ⁸ If I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will surely die,’ but you do not speak out to dissuade him from his way, then that wicked man will die in his iniquity, yet I will hold you accountable for his blood. ⁹ But if you warn the wicked man to turn from his way, and he does not turn from it, he will die in his iniquity, but you will have saved your life.

⁸ And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

²² Do not be too quick in the laying on of hands and thereby share in the sins of others. Keep yourself pure.

³² Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things are worthy of death, they not only continue to do these things, but also approve of those who practice them.

²⁷ Do not withhold good from the deserving when it is within your power to act.

⁶ But He gives us more grace. This is why it says: “God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

⁸ If anyone does not provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

¹¹ Whoever greets such a person shares in his evil deeds.

⁴ Idle hands make one poor, but diligent hands bring wealth.

¹¹ Have no fellowship with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

⁵ For each one should carry his own load.

¹⁰ For even while we were with you, we gave you this command: “If anyone is unwilling to work, he shall not eat.” ¹¹ Yet we hear that some of you are leading undisciplined lives and accomplishing nothing but being busybodies. ¹² We command and urge such people by our Lord Jesus Christ to begin working quietly to earn their own living. ¹³ But as for you, brothers, do not grow weary in well-doing. ¹⁴ Take note of anyone who does not obey the instructions we have given in this letter. Do not associate with him, so that he may be ashamed. ¹⁵ Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother.
