²¹ You have heard that it was said to the ancients, ‘You shall not murder’ and ‘Whoever shall murder will be liable to the judgment.’ ²² But I say to you that everyone being angry with his brother will be liable to the judgment, and whoever shall say to his brother ‘Raca,’ will be liable to the Sanhedrin. But whoever shall say, ‘Fool!’ will be liable to the Gehenna of fire.

¹ Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

¹⁴ What is the profit, my brothers, if anyone says to have faith, but has no works? Is the faith able to save him? ¹⁵ Now if a brother or a sister is without clothes and lacking of daily food, ¹⁶ and anyone out from you says to them, “Go in peace; be warmed and be filled,” but does not give to them the needful things for the body, what is the profit? ¹⁷ So also, faith by itself if it has not works, is dead.
