²³ “All things are lawful,” but not all things are profitable; “All things are lawful,” but not all edify. ²⁴ Let no one seek the good of himself, but that of the other.

²¹ that the creation itself will also be set free from the bondage of decay, into the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

¹² “All things are lawful to me,” but not all things do profit. “All things are lawful to me,” but I will not be mastered by anything.

²⁵ But the one having looked intently into the perfect law, that of freedom, and having continued in it, not having been a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work—this one will be blessed in his work.

¹ In freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore and do not be entangled again in a yoke of slavery!

³⁶ So if the Son shall set you free, you will be free indeed.

¹³ For you brothers were called to freedom, but not the freedom for an opportunity to the flesh. Rather, serve one another through love.
