⁹ whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in every power, and in signs, and in wonders of falsehood, ¹⁰ and in every deception of wickedness unto those perishing, in return for which they did not receive the love of the truth in order for them to be saved.

¹⁷ Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away; behold, the new has come into being.

¹⁷ So faith is from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

¹ But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will be present. ² For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boasters, proud, verbally abusive, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, ³ unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, savage, haters of good, ⁴ betrayers, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

¹¹ Put on the complete armor of God, for you to be able to stand against the schemes of the devil,

²⁴ Immediately the father of the child, having cried out, was saying, “I believe; help my unbelief!”

⁷ because the mind of the flesh is hostility toward God; for it is not subject to the Law of God, for not even can it be.

⁷ always learning and never being able to come to a knowledge of the truth.

³ For there will be a time when they will not endure sound teaching, but according to the own desires, having an itching ear, they will gather around them teachers to suit themselves, ⁴ and indeed they will turn away from hearing the truth, and will be turned aside unto myths.
