²⁷ Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it fear.

¹ Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe also in Me. ² In My Father’s house there are many mansions. And if not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? ³ And if I go and prepare a place for you, I am coming again and will receive you to Myself, that where I am, you may be also. ⁴ And you know the way to the place I am going.”

⁷ For God has not given us a spirit of cowardice, but of power, and of love, and of self-control.

⁵ Now if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask from God, the One giving generously to all and not finding fault, and it will be given to him.

¹⁰ And the God of all grace, the One having called you to His eternal glory in Christ, of you having suffered a little while, He Himself will perfect, will confirm, will strengthen, and will establish you.

⁶ So we are confident to say: “The Lord is my helper, and I will not be afraid; what shall man do to me?”

¹³ I have strength for all things in the One strengthening me.

⁶ Be anxious about nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

⁶ Be humbled therefore under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you in due time, ⁷ having cast all your anxiety upon Him, because with Him there is care about you.

²⁵ Because of this I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you should eat or what you should drink; nor your body, what you should put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ²⁶ Look at the birds of the air. They do not sow nor do they reap, nor do they gather into barns, and your Heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? ²⁷ And who of you by worrying is able to add one cubit to his stature? ²⁸ And why do you worry about clothing? Consider carefully how the lilies of the field grow: They do not labor nor do they spin. ²⁹ Yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory was adorned like one of these. ³⁰ But if God thus clothes the grass of the field, existing today and tomorrow being thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? ³¹ Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ Or ‘What shall we drink?’ Or ‘What shall we wear?’ ³² For the Gentiles seek after all these things. For your Heavenly Father knows that you have need of them all. ³³ But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you. ³⁴ Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Sufficient to the day is its own trouble.

⁷ having cast all your anxiety upon Him, because with Him there is care about you.
