2 Καὶ (And) προσελθόντες (having come to him), Φαρισαῖοι (the Pharisees) ἐπηρώτων (were demanding) αὐτὸν (of Him) εἰ (if) ἔξεστιν (it is lawful) ἀνδρὶ (for a husband) γυναῖκα (a wife) ἀπολῦσαι (to divorce), πειράζοντες (testing) αὐτόν (Him). 3 Ὁ (-) δὲ (And) ἀποκριθεὶς (He answering), εἶπεν (said) αὐτοῖς (to them), “Τί (What) ὑμῖν (you) ἐνετείλατο (did command) Μωϋσῆς (Moses)?” 4 Οἱ (-) δὲ (And) εἶπαν (they said), “Ἐπέτρεψεν (Permitted) Μωϋσῆς (Moses) βιβλίον (a roll) ἀποστασίου (of divorce) γράψαι (to write), καὶ (and) ἀπολῦσαι (to send her away).” 5 Ὁ (-) δὲ (But) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) εἶπεν (said) αὐτοῖς (to them), “Πρὸς (Because of) τὴν (the) σκληροκαρδίαν (hardness of heart) ὑμῶν (of you), ἔγραψεν (He wrote) ὑμῖν (for you) τὴν (the) ἐντολὴν (commandment) ταύτην (this). 6 ἀπὸ (From), δὲ (however), ἀρχῆς (the beginning) κτίσεως (of creation), ‘Ἄρσεν (Male) καὶ (and) θῆλυ (female) ἐποίησεν (He made) αὐτούς (them).’ 7 ‘Ἕνεκεν (On account of) τούτου (this), καταλείψει (will leave) ἄνθρωπος (a man) τὸν (the) πατέρα (father) αὐτοῦ (of him) καὶ (and) τὴν (-) μητέρα (mother) ‹καὶ (and) προσκολληθήσεται (be joined) πρὸς (to) τὴν (-) γυναῖκα (wife) αὐτοῦ› (his), 8 καὶ (and) ἔσονται (will be) οἱ (the) δύο (two) εἰς (for) σάρκα (flesh) μίαν (one).’ ὥστε (Therefore) οὐκέτι (no longer) εἰσὶν (they are) δύο (two), ἀλλὰ (but) μία (one) σάρξ (flesh). 9 ὃ (What) οὖν (therefore) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) συνέζευξεν (has joined together), ἄνθρωπος (man) μὴ (not) χωριζέτω (let separate).” 10 Καὶ (And) εἰς (in) τὴν (the) οἰκίαν (house) πάλιν (again), οἱ (the) μαθηταὶ (disciples) περὶ (concerning) τούτου (this) ἐπηρώτων (were asking) αὐτόν (Him). 11 καὶ (And) λέγει (He says) αὐτοῖς (to them), “Ὃς (Whoever) ἂν (-) ἀπολύσῃ (shall divorce) τὴν (the) γυναῖκα (wife) αὐτοῦ (of him), καὶ (and) γαμήσῃ (shall marry) ἄλλην (another), μοιχᾶται (commits adultery) ἐπ’ (against) αὐτήν (her). 12 καὶ (And) ἐὰν (if) αὐτὴ (a woman), ἀπολύσασα (having divorced) τὸν (the) ἄνδρα (husband) αὐτῆς (of her), γαμήσῃ (should marry) ἄλλον (another), μοιχᾶται (she commits adultery).”

Mark 10:2

Romans 14:10-12

Matthew 7:21-23

Romans 14:1-23

πάντες (All) γὰρ (for) παραστησόμεθα (we will stand before) τῷ (the) βήματι (judgment seat) τοῦ (of) Θεοῦ (God). 11 γέγραπται (It has been written) γάρ (for): “Ζῶ (Live) ἐγώ (I), λέγει (says) Κύριος (the Lord), ὅτι (that) ἐμοὶ (to Me) κάμψει (will bow) πᾶν (every) γόνυ (knee), καὶ (and) πᾶσα (every) γλῶσσα (tongue) ἐξομολογήσεται (will confess) τῷ (-) Θεῷ (to God).” 12 Ἄρα (So) οὖν (then), ἕκαστος (each) ἡμῶν (of us) περὶ (concerning) ἑαυτοῦ (himself), λόγον (account) δώσει (will give) τῷ (-) Θεῷ (to God). 13 Μηκέτι (No longer) οὖν (therefore) ἀλλήλους (one another) κρίνωμεν (should we judge); ἀλλὰ (but) τοῦτο (this) κρίνατε (determine) μᾶλλον (rather), τὸ (-) μὴ (not) τιθέναι (to put) πρόσκομμα (any stumbling block) τῷ (before your) ἀδελφῷ (brother), ἢ (or) σκάνδαλον (snare). 14 Οἶδα (I know) καὶ (and) πέπεισμαι (I am persuaded) ἐν (in the) Κυρίῳ (Lord) Ἰησοῦ (Jesus) ὅτι (that) οὐδὲν (nothing is) κοινὸν (unclean) δι’ (of) ἑαυτοῦ (itself); εἰ (if) μὴ (not) τῷ (to him) λογιζομένῳ (reckoning) τι (anything) κοινὸν (unclean) εἶναι (to be), ἐκείνῳ (to that one) κοινόν (unclean it is). 15 εἰ (If) γὰρ (for) διὰ (on account of) βρῶμα (food), ὁ (the) ἀδελφός (brother) σου (of you) λυπεῖται (is grieved), οὐκέτι (no longer) κατὰ (according to) ἀγάπην (love) περιπατεῖς (are you walking). μὴ (Not) τῷ (with the) βρώματί (food) σου (of you) ἐκεῖνον (that one) ἀπόλλυε (destroy), ὑπὲρ (for) οὗ (whom) Χριστὸς (Christ) ἀπέθανεν (died). 16 Μὴ (Not) βλασφημείσθω (let be spoken of as evil), οὖν (therefore), ὑμῶν (your) τὸ (-) ἀγαθόν (good). 17 οὐ (Not) γάρ (for) ἐστιν (is) ἡ (the) βασιλεία (kingdom) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) βρῶσις (eating) καὶ (and) πόσις (drinking), ἀλλὰ (but) δικαιοσύνη (righteousness) καὶ (and) εἰρήνη (peace) καὶ (and) χαρὰ (joy) ἐν (in the) Πνεύματι (Spirit) Ἁγίῳ (Holy). 18 ὁ (The one) γὰρ (for) ἐν (in) τούτῳ (these things) δουλεύων (serving) τῷ (-) Χριστῷ (Christ) εὐάρεστος (is well-pleasing) τῷ (-) Θεῷ (to God) καὶ (and) δόκιμος (approved) τοῖς (-) ἀνθρώποις (by men). 19 Ἄρα (So) οὖν (then), τὰ (the things) τῆς (-) εἰρήνης (of peace) διώκωμεν* (we should pursue), καὶ (and) τὰ (the things) τῆς (-) οἰκοδομῆς (for edification) τῆς (-) εἰς (among) ἀλλήλους (each other). 20 μὴ (Not) ἕνεκεν (for the sake of) βρώματος (food), κατάλυε (destroy) τὸ (the) ἔργον (work) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God). πάντα (All things) μὲν (indeed are) καθαρά (clean), ἀλλὰ (but) κακὸν (it is wrong) τῷ (to the) ἀνθρώπῳ (man) τῷ (-) διὰ (through) προσκόμματος (a stumbling block) ἐσθίοντι (eating). 21 καλὸν (It is good) τὸ (-) μὴ (neither) φαγεῖν (to eat) κρέα (meat), μηδὲ (nor) πιεῖν (to drink) οἶνον (wine), μηδὲ (nor anything) ἐν (in) ᾧ (which) ὁ (the) ἀδελφός (brother) σου (of you) προσκόπτει (stumbles). 22 Σὺ (You) πίστιν (the faith) ἣν (that) ἔχεις (have), κατὰ (to) σεαυτὸν (yourself) ἔχε (keep) ἐνώπιον (before) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (God). μακάριος (Blessed is) ὁ (the one) μὴ (not) κρίνων (judging) ἑαυτὸν (himself) ἐν (in) ᾧ (what) δοκιμάζει (he approves). 23 ὁ (The one) δὲ (however) διακρινόμενος (doubting), ἐὰν (if) φάγῃ (he eats), κατακέκριται (has been condemned), ὅτι (because it is) οὐκ (not) ἐκ (of) πίστεως (faith); πᾶν (everything) δὲ (now) ὃ (that is) οὐκ (not) ἐκ (of) πίστεως (faith), ἁμαρτία (sin) ἐστίν (is).

Matthew 21:31-32

Luke 20:46-47

36 Ἠρώτα (Was asking) δέ (now) τις (one) αὐτὸν (Him) τῶν (of the) Φαρισαίων (Pharisees), ἵνα (that) φάγῃ (He should eat) μετ’ (with) αὐτοῦ (him); καὶ (and) εἰσελθὼν (having entered) εἰς (into) τὸν (the) οἶκον (house) τοῦ (of the) Φαρισαίου (Pharisee), κατεκλίθη (He reclined). 37 καὶ (And) ἰδοὺ (behold), γυνὴ (a woman) ἥτις (who) ἦν (was) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) πόλει (city), ἁμαρτωλός (a sinner). καὶ (And) ἐπιγνοῦσα (she having known) ὅτι (that) κατάκειται (He had reclined) ἐν (in) τῇ (the) οἰκίᾳ (house) τοῦ (of the) Φαρισαίου (Pharisee), κομίσασα (having taken) ἀλάβαστρον (an alabaster flask) μύρου (of fragrant oil), 38 καὶ (and) στᾶσα (having stood) ὀπίσω (behind Him) παρὰ (at) τοὺς (the) πόδας (feet) αὐτοῦ (of Him) κλαίουσα (weeping), τοῖς (the) δάκρυσιν (tears) ἤρξατο (she began) βρέχειν (to wet) τοὺς (with the) πόδας (feet) αὐτοῦ (of Him), καὶ (and) ταῖς (with the) θριξὶν (hairs) τῆς (of the) κεφαλῆς (head) αὐτῆς (of her), ἐξέμασσεν (she was wiping them), καὶ (and) κατεφίλει (was kissing) τοὺς (the) πόδας (feet) αὐτοῦ (of Him), καὶ (and) ἤλειφεν (was anointing them) τῷ (with the) μύρῳ (fragrant oil). 39 Ἰδὼν (Having seen) δὲ (now) ὁ (the) Φαρισαῖος (Pharisee), ὁ (the one) καλέσας (having invited) αὐτὸν (Him), εἶπεν (he spoke) ἐν (within) ἑαυτῷ (himself), λέγων (saying), “Οὗτος (This), εἰ (if) ἦν (He were) προφήτης (a prophet), ἐγίνωσκεν (would have known) ἂν (-) τίς (who) καὶ (and) ποταπὴ (what) ἡ (the) γυνὴ (woman is) ἥτις (who) ἅπτεται (touches) αὐτοῦ (Him), ὅτι (for) ἁμαρτωλός (a sinner) ἐστιν (she is).” 40 Καὶ (And) ἀποκριθεὶς (answering), ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus) εἶπεν (said) πρὸς (to) αὐτόν (him), “Σίμων (Simon), ἔχω (I have) σοί (to you) τι (something) εἰπεῖν (to say).” Ὁ (-) δέ (And), “Διδάσκαλε (Teacher), εἰπέ (say it),” φησίν (he says). 41 “Δύο (Two) χρεοφειλέται (debtors) ἦσαν (there were) δανιστῇ (to a creditor) τινι (certain); ὁ (the) εἷς (one) ὤφειλεν (owed) δηνάρια (denarii) πεντακόσια (five hundred); ὁ (-) δὲ (and) ἕτερος (the other), πεντήκοντα (fifty). 42 μὴ (Nothing) ἐχόντων (having) αὐτῶν (they) ἀποδοῦναι (to pay), ἀμφοτέροις (both) ἐχαρίσατο (he forgave). τίς (Which) οὖν (therefore) αὐτῶν (of them), πλεῖον (more) ἀγαπήσει (will love) αὐτόν (him)?” 43 Ἀποκριθεὶς (Answering), Σίμων (Simon) εἶπεν (said), “Ὑπολαμβάνω (I take it) ὅτι (that) ᾧ (he to whom) τὸ (the) πλεῖον (most) ἐχαρίσατο (he forgave).” Ὁ (-) δὲ (And) εἶπεν (He said) αὐτῷ (to him), “Ὀρθῶς (Rightly) ἔκρινας (You have judged).” 44 Καὶ (And) στραφεὶς (having turned) πρὸς (to) τὴν (the) γυναῖκα (woman), τῷ (-) Σίμωνι (to Simon) ἔφη (He was saying), “Βλέπεις (See you) ταύτην (this) τὴν (the) γυναῖκα (woman)? εἰσῆλθόν (I entered) σου (of you) εἰς (into) τὴν (the) οἰκίαν (house), ὕδωρ (water) μοι (of Me) ἐπὶ (for) πόδας (feet) οὐκ (not) ἔδωκας (you gave); αὕτη (with her) δὲ (however) τοῖς (-) δάκρυσιν (tears) ἔβρεξέν (she wet) μου (My) τοὺς (-) πόδας (feet), καὶ (and) ταῖς (with) θριξὶν (the hair) αὐτῆς (of her) ἐξέμαξεν (wiped them). 45 φίλημά (A kiss) μοι (to Me) οὐκ (not) ἔδωκας (you gave); αὕτη (she herself) δὲ (however), ἀφ’ (from) ἧς (which time) εἰσῆλθον (I came in), οὐ (not) διέλιπεν (has ceased) καταφιλοῦσά (kissing) μου (My) τοὺς (-) πόδας (feet). 46 ἐλαίῳ (With oil) τὴν (the) κεφαλήν (head) μου (of Me) οὐκ (not) ἤλειψας (you did anoint); αὕτη (she herself) δὲ (however), μύρῳ (with fragrant oil) ἤλειψεν (anointed) τοὺς (the) πόδας (feet) μου (of Me). 47 οὗ (This) χάριν (therefore) λέγω (I say) σοι (to you), ἀφέωνται (have been forgiven) αἱ (the) ἁμαρτίαι (sins) αὐτῆς (of her) αἱ (-) πολλαί (many), ὅτι (for) ἠγάπησεν (she loved) πολύ (much); ᾧ (to whom) δὲ (however) ὀλίγον (little) ἀφίεται (is forgiven), ὀλίγον (little) ἀγαπᾷ (he loves).” 48 Εἶπεν (He said) δὲ (then) αὐτῇ (to her), “Ἀφέωνταί (Have been forgiven) σου (your) αἱ (-) ἁμαρτίαι (sins).” 49 Καὶ (And) ἤρξαντο (began) οἱ (those) συνανακείμενοι (reclining) λέγειν (to say) ἐν (within) ἑαυτοῖς (themselves), “Τίς (Who) οὗτός (this) ἐστιν (is) ὃς (who) καὶ (even) ἁμαρτίας (sins) ἀφίησιν (forgives)?” 50 Εἶπεν (He said) δὲ (then) πρὸς (to) τὴν (the) γυναῖκα (woman), “Ἡ (The) πίστις (faith) σου (of You) σέσωκέν (has saved) σε (you); πορεύου (go) εἰς (in) εἰρήνην (peace).”

Luke 18:10-14

18 καί (And you say), ‘Ὃς (Whoever) ἂν (-) ὀμόσῃ (shall swear) ἐν (by) τῷ (the) θυσιαστηρίῳ (altar), οὐδέν (nothing) ἐστιν (it is); ὃς (whoever) δ’ (however) ἂν (-) ὀμόσῃ (shall swear) ἐν (by) τῷ (the) δώρῳ (gift) τῷ (that is) ἐπάνω (upon) αὐτοῦ (it), ὀφείλει (he is bound by his oath).’ 19 τυφλοί (You blind men)! τί (Which) γὰρ (for) μεῖζον (is greater), τὸ (the) δῶρον (gift), ἢ (or) τὸ (the) θυσιαστήριον (altar) τὸ (-) ἁγιάζον (sanctifying) τὸ (the) δῶρον (gift)? 20 ὁ (The one) οὖν (therefore) ὀμόσας (having sworn) ἐν (by) τῷ (the) θυσιαστηρίῳ (altar) ὀμνύει (swears) ἐν (by) αὐτῷ (it) καὶ (and) ἐν (by) πᾶσι (all things) τοῖς (that are) ἐπάνω (upon) αὐτοῦ (it). 21 καὶ (And) ὁ (the one) ὀμόσας (having sworn) ἐν (by) τῷ (the) ναῷ (temple) ὀμνύει (swears) ἐν (by) αὐτῷ (it) καὶ (and) ἐν (by) τῷ (the One) κατοικοῦντι (dwelling) αὐτόν (in it). 22 καὶ (And) ὁ (the one) ὀμόσας (having sworn) ἐν (by) τῷ (-) οὐρανῷ (heaven) ὀμνύει (swears) ἐν (by) τῷ (the) θρόνῳ (throne) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) καὶ (and) ἐν (by) τῷ (the One) καθημένῳ (sitting) ἐπάνω (upon) αὐτοῦ (it). 23 Οὐαὶ (Woe) ὑμῖν (to you), γραμματεῖς (scribes) καὶ (and) Φαρισαῖοι (Pharisees), ὑποκριταί (hypocrites)! ὅτι (For) ἀποδεκατοῦτε (you pay tithes of) τὸ (-) ἡδύοσμον (mint), καὶ (and) τὸ (-) ἄνηθον (dill), καὶ (and) τὸ (-) κύμινον (cumin); καὶ (and) ἀφήκατε (you have neglected) τὰ (the) βαρύτερα (weightier matters) τοῦ (of the) νόμου (law): τὴν (-) κρίσιν (justice) καὶ (and) τὸ (-) ἔλεος (mercy) καὶ (and) τὴν (-) πίστιν (faithfulness). ταῦτα (These) δὲ (now) ἔδει (it behooved you) ποιῆσαι (to do), κἀκεῖνα (those) μὴ (not) ἀφιέναι* (to be leaving aside). 24 ὁδηγοὶ (Guides) τυφλοί (blind)! οἱ (Those) διϋλίζοντες (straining out) τὸν (the) κώνωπα (gnat), τὴν (the) δὲ (however) κάμηλον (camel) καταπίνοντες (swallowing)! 25 Οὐαὶ (Woe) ὑμῖν (to you), γραμματεῖς (scribes) καὶ (and) Φαρισαῖοι (Pharisees), ὑποκριταί (hypocrites)! ὅτι (For) καθαρίζετε (you cleanse) τὸ (the) ἔξωθεν (outside) τοῦ (of the) ποτηρίου (cup) καὶ (and) τῆς (of the) παροψίδος (dish); ἔσωθεν (inside), δὲ (however), γέμουσιν (they are full) ἐξ (of) ἁρπαγῆς (greed) καὶ (and) ἀκρασίας (self-indulgence). 26 Φαρισαῖε (Pharisee) τυφλέ (blind)! καθάρισον (Cleanse) πρῶτον (first) τὸ (the) ἐντὸς (inside) τοῦ (of the) ποτηρίου (cup) ‹καὶ (and) τῆς (of the) παροψίδος› (dish) ἵνα (that) γένηται (might become) καὶ (also) τὸ (the) ἐκτὸς (outside) αὐτοῦ (of them) καθαρόν (clean). 27 Οὐαὶ (Woe) ὑμῖν (to you), γραμματεῖς (scribes) καὶ (and) Φαρισαῖοι (Pharisees), ὑποκριταί (hypocrites)! ὅτι (For) παρομοιάζετε (you are like) τάφοις (tombs) κεκονιαμένοις (having been whitewashed), οἵτινες (which) ἔξωθεν (outwardly) μὲν (indeed) φαίνονται (appear) ὡραῖοι (beautiful). ἔσωθεν (Inside) δὲ (however) γέμουσιν (they are full) ὀστέων (of bones) νεκρῶν (of the dead), καὶ (and) πάσης (of all) ἀκαθαρσίας (impurity). 28 οὕτως (Thus) καὶ (also), ὑμεῖς (you) ἔξωθεν (outwardly) μὲν (indeed) φαίνεσθε (appear) τοῖς (-) ἀνθρώποις (to men) δίκαιοι (righteous), ἔσωθεν (inwardly) δέ (however) ἐστε (you are) μεστοὶ (full) ὑποκρίσεως (of hypocrisy) καὶ (and) ἀνομίας (lawlessness). 29 Οὐαὶ (Woe) ὑμῖν (to you), γραμματεῖς (scribes) καὶ (and) Φαρισαῖοι (Pharisees), ὑποκριταί (hypocrites)! ὅτι (For) οἰκοδομεῖτε (you build) τοὺς (the) τάφους (tombs) τῶν (of the) προφητῶν (prophets) καὶ (and) κοσμεῖτε (adorn) τὰ (the) μνημεῖα (monuments) τῶν (of the) δικαίων (righteous); 30 καὶ (and) λέγετε (you say), ‘Εἰ (If) ἤμεθα (we had lived) ἐν (in) ταῖς (the) ἡμέραις (days) τῶν (of the) πατέρων (fathers) ἡμῶν (of us), οὐκ (not) ἂν (-) ἤμεθα (we would have been) αὐτῶν (with them) κοινωνοὶ (partakers) ἐν (in) τῷ (the) αἵματι (blood) τῶν (of the) προφητῶν (prophets).’ 31 ὥστε (Thus) μαρτυρεῖτε (you bear witness) ἑαυτοῖς (to yourselves) ὅτι (that) υἱοί (sons) ἐστε (you are) τῶν (of those) φονευσάντων (having murdered) τοὺς (the) προφήτας (prophets). 32 καὶ (And) ὑμεῖς (you), πληρώσατε (fill up) τὸ (the) μέτρον (measure) τῶν (of the) πατέρων (fathers) ὑμῶν (of you). 33 ὄφεις (Serpents)! γεννήματα (Offspring) ἐχιδνῶν (of vipers)! πῶς (How) φύγητε (shall you escape) ἀπὸ (from) τῆς (the) κρίσεως (sentence) τῆς (-) γεέννης (of hell)? 34 Διὰ (Because of) τοῦτο (this), ἰδοὺ (behold), ἐγὼ (I) ἀποστέλλω (send) πρὸς (to) ὑμᾶς (you) προφήτας (prophets) καὶ (and) σοφοὺς (wise men) καὶ (and) γραμματεῖς (scribes). ἐξ (Some of) αὐτῶν (them) ἀποκτενεῖτε (you will kill) καὶ (and) σταυρώσετε (will crucify), καὶ (and some) ἐξ (of) αὐτῶν (them) μαστιγώσετε (you will flog) ἐν (in) ταῖς (the) συναγωγαῖς (synagogues) ὑμῶν (of you), καὶ (and) διώξετε (will persecute) ἀπὸ (from) πόλεως (town) εἰς (to) πόλιν (town); 35 ὅπως (so that) ἔλθῃ (shall come) ἐφ’ (upon) ὑμᾶς (you) πᾶν (all the) αἷμα (blood) δίκαιον (righteous) ἐκχυννόμενον (being poured out) ἐπὶ (upon) τῆς (the) γῆς (earth), ἀπὸ (from) τοῦ (the) αἵματος (blood) Ἅβελ (of Abel) τοῦ (the) δικαίου (righteous), ἕως (to) τοῦ (the) αἵματος (blood) Ζαχαρίου (of Zechariah) υἱοῦ (son) Βαραχίου (of Berekiah), ὃν (whom) ἐφονεύσατε (you murdered) μεταξὺ (between) τοῦ (the) ναοῦ (temple) καὶ (and) τοῦ (the) θυσιαστηρίου (altar). 36 ἀμὴν (Truly) λέγω (I say) ὑμῖν (to you), ἥξει (will come) ταῦτα (these things) πάντα (all) ἐπὶ (upon) τὴν (the) γενεὰν (generation) ταύτην (this). 37 Ἰερουσαλὴμ (Jerusalem), Ἰερουσαλήμ (Jerusalem), ἡ (-) ἀποκτείνουσα (killing) τοὺς (the) προφήτας (prophets) καὶ (and) λιθοβολοῦσα (stoning) τοὺς (those) ἀπεσταλμένους (having been sent) πρὸς (to) αὐτήν (her)! ποσάκις (How often) ἠθέλησα (would I) ἐπισυναγαγεῖν (have gathered together) τὰ (the) τέκνα (children) σου (of you), ὃν (in which) τρόπον (way) ὄρνις (a hen) ἐπισυνάγει (gathers together) τὰ (the) νοσσία (chicks) αὐτῆς (of her) ὑπὸ (under) τὰς (the) πτέρυγας (wings), καὶ (and) οὐκ (not) ἠθελήσατε (you were willing)! 38 ἰδοὺ (Behold), ἀφίεται (is left) ὑμῖν (to you) ὁ (the) οἶκος (house) ὑμῶν (of you) ‹ἔρημος› (desolate)! 39 λέγω (I say) γὰρ (for) ὑμῖν (to you), οὐ (no) μή (not) με (Me) ἴδητε (shall you see) ἀπ’ (from) ἄρτι (now) ἕως (until) ἂν (-) εἴπητε (you say), ‘Εὐλογημένος (Blessed is) ὁ (the One) ἐρχόμενος (coming) ἐν (in the) ὀνόματι (name) Κυρίου (of the Lord).’”
