²⁹ Ἀπεκρίθη (Answered) ὁ (-) Ἰησοῦς (Jesus), “Ὅτι (The) Πρώτη (foremost) ἐστίν (is), ‘Ἄκουε (Hear this) Ἰσραήλ (O Israel): Κύριος (The Lord) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) ἡμῶν (of us), Κύριος (the Lord) εἷς (One) ἐστιν (is),

³² Καὶ (And) εἶπεν (said) αὐτῷ (to Him) ὁ (the) γραμματεύς (scribe), “Καλῶς (Right), Διδάσκαλε (Teacher), ἐπ’ (according to) ἀληθείας (truth) εἶπες (You have spoken) ὅτι (that) εἷς (One) ἐστιν (He is), καὶ (and) οὐκ (not) ἔστιν (there is) ἄλλος (another) πλὴν (besides) αὐτοῦ (Him),

³⁰ ἐγὼ (I) καὶ (and) ὁ (the) Πατὴρ (Father) ἕν (one) ἐσμεν (are).”

⁶ εἷς (one) Θεὸς (God) καὶ (and) Πατὴρ (Father) πάντων (of all), ὁ (who is) ἐπὶ (over) πάντων (all) καὶ (and) διὰ (through) πάντων (all) καὶ (and) ἐν (in) πᾶσιν (all).

¹⁹ ὅτι (because) ἐν (in) αὐτῷ (Him) εὐδόκησεν (was pleased) πᾶν (all) τὸ (the) πλήρωμα (fullness) κατοικῆσαι (to dwell),

⁸ “Ἐγώ (I) εἰμι (am) τὸ (the) Ἄλφα (Alpha) καὶ (and) τὸ (the) Ὦ (Omega),” λέγει (says) Κύριος (Lord) ὁ (-) Θεός (God), ὁ (the One) ὢν (being), καὶ (and) ὁ (who) ἦν (was), καὶ (and) ὁ (who) ἐρχόμενος (is coming), ὁ (the) Παντοκράτωρ (Almighty).

¹ Ἐν (In the) ἀρχῇ (beginning) ἦν (was) ὁ (the) Λόγος (Word), καὶ (and) ὁ (the) Λόγος (Word) ἦν (was) πρὸς (with) τὸν (-) Θεόν (God), καὶ (and) Θεὸς (God) ἦν (was) ὁ (the) Λόγος (Word).

⁵ εἷς (one) Κύριος (Lord), μία (one) πίστις (faith), ἓν (one) βάπτισμα (baptism);

¹³ καὶ (Also) γὰρ (for) ἐν (in) ἑνὶ (one) Πνεύματι (Spirit), ἡμεῖς (we) πάντες (all) εἰς (into) ἓν (one) σῶμα (body) ἐβαπτίσθημεν (were baptized), εἴτε (whether) Ἰουδαῖοι (Jews) εἴτε (or) Ἕλληνες (Greeks), εἴτε (whether) δοῦλοι (slaves) εἴτε (or) ἐλεύθεροι (free); καὶ (and) πάντες (all) ἓν (one) Πνεῦμα (Spirit) ἐποτίσθημεν (we were made to drink).
