³⁵ πάντα (In everything) ὑπέδειξα (I showed) ὑμῖν (you) ὅτι (that) οὕτως (by thus) κοπιῶντας (straining) δεῖ (it behooves us) ἀντιλαμβάνεσθαι (to aid) τῶν (those) ἀσθενούντων (being weak), μνημονεύειν (to remember) τε (and also) τῶν (the) λόγων (words) τοῦ (of the) Κυρίου (Lord) Ἰησοῦ (Jesus), ὅτι (how) αὐτὸς (He Himself) εἶπεν (said), ‘Μακάριόν (Blessed) ἐστιν (it is) μᾶλλον (more) διδόναι (to give) ἢ (than) λαμβάνειν (to receive).’”

¹ Ὀφείλομεν (We ought) δὲ (now), ἡμεῖς (we) οἱ (who are) δυνατοὶ (strong), τὰ (the) ἀσθενήματα (weaknesses) τῶν (of the) ἀδυνάτων (weak) βαστάζειν (to bear), καὶ (and) μὴ (not) ἑαυτοῖς (ourselves) ἀρέσκειν (to please). ² ἕκαστος (Each) ἡμῶν (of us) τῷ (the) πλησίον (neighbor) ἀρεσκέτω (let please), εἰς (unto) τὸ (the) ἀγαθὸν (good), πρὸς (for) οἰκοδομήν (edification).

¹⁰ Σὺ (You) δὲ (however), τί (why) κρίνεις (judge you) τὸν (the) ἀδελφόν (brother) σου (or you), ἢ (or) καὶ (also) σὺ (you) τί (why) ἐξουθενεῖς (do despise) τὸν (the) ἀδελφόν (brother) σου (of you)? πάντες (All) γὰρ (for) παραστησόμεθα (we will stand before) τῷ (the) βήματι (judgment seat) τοῦ (of) Θεοῦ (God). ¹¹ γέγραπται (It has been written) γάρ (for): “Ζῶ (Live) ἐγώ (I), λέγει (says) Κύριος (the Lord), ὅτι (that) ἐμοὶ (to Me) κάμψει (will bow) πᾶν (every) γόνυ (knee), καὶ (and) πᾶσα (every) γλῶσσα (tongue) ἐξομολογήσεται (will confess) τῷ (-) Θεῷ (to God).” ¹² Ἄρα (So) οὖν (then), ἕκαστος (each) ἡμῶν (of us) περὶ (concerning) ἑαυτοῦ (himself), λόγον (account) δώσει (will give) τῷ (-) Θεῷ (to God).

³² γίνεσθε (Be) δὲ (now) εἰς (to) ἀλλήλους (one another) χρηστοί (kind), εὔσπλαγχνοι (tender-hearted), χαριζόμενοι (forgiving) ἑαυτοῖς (each other), καθὼς (as) καὶ (also) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) ἐν (in) Χριστῷ (Christ) ἐχαρίσατο (forgave) ὑμῖν (you).

¹² Ἐνδύσασθε (Put on) οὖν (therefore), ὡς (as) ἐκλεκτοὶ (the elect) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God), ἅγιοι (holy) καὶ (and) ἠγαπημένοι (beloved), σπλάγχνα (hearts) οἰκτιρμοῦ (of compassion), χρηστότητα (kindness), ταπεινοφροσύνην (humility), πραΰτητα (gentleness), μακροθυμίαν (and patience); ¹³ ἀνεχόμενοι (bearing with) ἀλλήλων (each other) καὶ (and) χαριζόμενοι (forgiving) ἑαυτοῖς (each other). ἐάν (If) τις (anyone) πρός (against) τινα (another) ἔχῃ (should have) μομφήν (a complaint), καθὼς (even as) καὶ (also) ὁ (the) Κύριος (Lord) ἐχαρίσατο (has forgiven) ὑμῖν (you), οὕτως (so) καὶ (also) ὑμεῖς (you). ¹⁴ ἐπὶ (Beyond) πᾶσιν (all) δὲ (now) τούτοις (these), τὴν (put on the) ἀγάπην (love), ὅ (which) ἐστιν (is) σύνδεσμος (the bond) τῆς (-) τελειότητος (of perfect unity).

¹ Διὸ (Therefore) ἀναπολόγητος (inexcusable) εἶ (you are), ὦ (O) ἄνθρωπε (man), πᾶς (each one) ὁ (who) κρίνων (is judging). ἐν (In) ᾧ (that which) γὰρ (for) κρίνεις (you judge) τὸν (the) ἕτερον (other), σεαυτὸν (yourself) κατακρίνεις (you are condemning); τὰ (-) γὰρ (for) αὐτὰ (the same things) πράσσεις (you do), ὁ (the one) κρίνων (judging). ² οἴδαμεν (We know) δὲ (however) ὅτι (that) τὸ (the) κρίμα (judgment) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) ἐστιν (is) κατὰ (according to) ἀλήθειαν (truth), ἐπὶ (upon) τοὺς (those) τὰ (-) τοιαῦτα (such things) πράσσοντας (practicing). ³ λογίζῃ (Suppose you) δὲ (now) τοῦτο (this), ὦ (O) ἄνθρωπε (man), ὁ (the one) κρίνων (judging) τοὺς (those) τὰ (-) τοιαῦτα (such things) πράσσοντας (practicing), καὶ (and) ποιῶν (doing) αὐτά (them yourself), ὅτι (that) σὺ (you) ἐκφεύξῃ (will escape) τὸ (the) κρίμα (judgment) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God)? ⁴ ἢ (Or) τοῦ (the) πλούτου (riches) τῆς (of the) χρηστότητος (kindness) αὐτοῦ (of Him), καὶ (and) τῆς (the) ἀνοχῆς (forbearance), καὶ (and) τῆς (the) μακροθυμίας (patience) καταφρονεῖς (despise you), ἀγνοῶν (not knowing) ὅτι (that) τὸ (the) χρηστὸν (kindness) τοῦ (-) Θεοῦ (of God) εἰς (to) μετάνοιάν (repentance) σε (you) ἄγει (leads)?

³¹ Πᾶσα (All) πικρία (bitterness), καὶ (and) θυμὸς (rage), καὶ (and) ὀργὴ (anger), καὶ (and) κραυγὴ (clamor), καὶ (and) βλασφημία (slander), ἀρθήτω (let be removed) ἀφ’ (from) ὑμῶν (you), σὺν (along with) πάσῃ (all) κακίᾳ (malice). ³² γίνεσθε (Be) δὲ (now) εἰς (to) ἀλλήλους (one another) χρηστοί (kind), εὔσπλαγχνοι (tender-hearted), χαριζόμενοι (forgiving) ἑαυτοῖς (each other), καθὼς (as) καὶ (also) ὁ (-) Θεὸς (God) ἐν (in) Χριστῷ (Christ) ἐχαρίσατο (forgave) ὑμῖν (you).

¹² Οὕτως (So) λαλεῖτε (speak) καὶ (and) οὕτως (so) ποιεῖτε (act) ὡς (as) διὰ (by) νόμου (the law) ἐλευθερίας (of freedom) μέλλοντες (being about) κρίνεσθαι (to be judged). ¹³ ἡ (-) γὰρ (For) κρίσις (judgment) ἀνέλεος (without mercy will be) τῷ (to the one) μὴ (not) ποιήσαντι (having shown) ἔλεος (mercy). κατακαυχᾶται (Triumphs over) ἔλεος (mercy) κρίσεως (judgment).

¹⁹ Ἴστε (Know this), ἀδελφοί (brothers) μου (my) ἀγαπητοί (beloved). ἔστω (Let be) δὲ (however) πᾶς (every) ἄνθρωπος (man) ταχὺς (swift) εἰς (unto) τὸ (-) ἀκοῦσαι (to hear), βραδὺς (slow) εἰς (unto) τὸ (-) λαλῆσαι (to speak), βραδὺς (slow) εἰς (unto) ὀργήν (anger); ²⁰ ὀργὴ (the anger) γὰρ (for) ἀνδρὸς (of man), δικαιοσύνην (the righteousness) Θεοῦ (of God) οὐκ (not) ἐργάζεται (produces).

¹¹ Μὴ (Not) καταλαλεῖτε (speak against) ἀλλήλων (one another), ἀδελφοί (brothers). ὁ (The one) καταλαλῶν (speaking against) ἀδελφοῦ (his brother) ἢ (or) κρίνων (judging) τὸν (the) ἀδελφὸν (brother) αὐτοῦ (of him), καταλαλεῖ (speaks against) νόμου (the Law) καὶ (and) κρίνει (judges) νόμον (the Law). εἰ (If) δὲ (however) νόμον (the Law) κρίνεις (you judge), οὐκ (not) εἶ (you are) ποιητὴς (a doer) νόμου (of the Law), ἀλλὰ (but) κριτής (a judge). ¹² εἷς (One) ἐστιν (there is) [ὁ] (-) νομοθέτης (Lawgiver) καὶ (and) κριτής (Judge), ὁ (the One) δυνάμενος (being able) σῶσαι (to save) καὶ (and) ἀπολέσαι (to destroy). σὺ (You) δὲ (however), τίς (who) εἶ (are) ὁ (-) κρίνων (judging) τὸν (the) πλησίον (neighbor)?
