Matthew 5:38-41

38 Ἠκούσατε (You have heard) ὅτι (that) ἐρρέθη (it was said), ‘Ὀφθαλμὸν (Eye) ἀντὶ (for) ὀφθαλμοῦ (eye), καὶ (and) ὀδόντα (tooth) ἀντὶ (for) ὀδόντος (tooth).’ 39 ἐγὼ (I) δὲ (however) λέγω (say) ὑμῖν (to you), μὴ (not) ἀντιστῆναι (to resist) τῷ (the) πονηρῷ (evil person). ἀλλ’ (Instead), ὅστις (whoever) σε (you) ῥαπίζει (shall strike) εἰς (on) τὴν (the) δεξιὰν (right) σιαγόνα (cheek) σου (of you), στρέψον (turn) αὐτῷ (to him) καὶ (also) τὴν (the) ἄλλην (other); 40 καὶ (and) τῷ (to the one) θέλοντί (willing) σοι (you) κριθῆναι (to sue) καὶ (and) τὸν (the) χιτῶνά (tunic) σου (of you) λαβεῖν (to take), ἄφες (yield) αὐτῷ (to him) καὶ (also) τὸ (the) ἱμάτιον (cloak); 41 καὶ (and) ὅστις (whoever) σε (you) ἀγγαρεύσει (shall compel to go) μίλιον (mile) ἕν (one), ὕπαγε (go) μετ’ (with) αὐτοῦ (him) δύο (two).

Matthew 5:11

11 Μακάριοί (Blessed) ἐστε (are you) ὅταν (when) ὀνειδίσωσιν (they shall insult) ὑμᾶς (you), καὶ (and) διώξωσιν (shall persecute you), καὶ (and) εἴπωσιν (shall say) πᾶν (all kinds of) πονηρὸν (evil) καθ’ (against) ὑμῶν (you), ψευδόμενοι (lying) ἕνεκεν (on account of) ἐμοῦ (Me).

Ephesians 4:29

Matthew 5:43-48

43 Ἠκούσατε (You have heard) ὅτι (that) ἐρρέθη (it was said), ‘Ἀγαπήσεις (You shall love) τὸν (-) πλησίον (neighbor) σου (of you) καὶ (and) μισήσεις (shall hate) τὸν (-) ἐχθρόν (enemy) σου (of you).’ 44 ἐγὼ (I) δὲ (however) λέγω (say) ὑμῖν (to you), ἀγαπᾶτε (love) τοὺς (the) ἐχθροὺς (enemies) ὑμῶν (of you), καὶ (and) προσεύχεσθε (pray) ὑπὲρ (for) τῶν (those) διωκόντων (persecuting) ὑμᾶς (you), 45 ὅπως (so that) γένησθε (you may be) υἱοὶ (sons) τοῦ (of the) Πατρὸς (Father) ὑμῶν (of you) τοῦ (who is) ἐν (in) οὐρανοῖς (the heavens). ὅτι (For) τὸν (the) ἥλιον (sun) αὐτοῦ (of Him) ἀνατέλλει (He makes rise) ἐπὶ (on) πονηροὺς (evil) καὶ (and) ἀγαθοὺς (good), καὶ (and) βρέχει (He sends rain) ἐπὶ (on) δικαίους (righteous) καὶ (and) ἀδίκους (unrighteous). 46 ἐὰν (If) γὰρ (for) ἀγαπήσητε (you love) τοὺς (those) ἀγαπῶντας (loving) ὑμᾶς (you), τίνα (what) μισθὸν (reward) ἔχετε (have you)? οὐχὶ (Do not) καὶ (also) οἱ (the) τελῶναι (tax collectors) τὸ (the) αὐτὸ (same) ποιοῦσιν (do)? 47 καὶ (And) ἐὰν (if) ἀσπάσησθε (you greet) τοὺς (the) ἀδελφοὺς (brothers) ὑμῶν (of you) μόνον (only), τί (what) περισσὸν (extraordinary) ποιεῖτε (do you)? οὐχὶ (Do not) καὶ (also) οἱ (the) ἐθνικοὶ (Gentiles) τὸ (the) αὐτὸ (same) ποιοῦσιν (do)? 48 Ἔσεσθε (Shall be) οὖν (therefore) ὑμεῖς (you) τέλειοι (perfect), ὡς (as) ὁ (the) Πατὴρ (Father) ὑμῶν (of you) ὁ (who is) οὐράνιος (Heavenly), τέλειός (perfect) ἐστιν (is).

2 Timothy 1:7
