Bible verses about "storms" | Anderson

Mark 4:35-41

35 And on the same day, when it was evening, he said to them: Let us go over to the opposite side. 36 And when they had sent the multitude away, they took him with them, as he was in the ship; and there were other little ships with him. 37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves dashed into the ship, so that it was now full. 38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on the pillow. And they awoke him, and said to him: Teacher, carest thou not that we perish? 39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea: Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. 40 And he said to them: Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith? 41 And they were greatly afraid, and said one to another: Who, then, is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

2 Corinthians 12:9

9 and he said to me: My grace is sufficient for you; for my power is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly, therefore, will I boast in my infirmities, that the power of the Christ may abide upon me.

Philippians 4:19

19 But my God will supply all your need, according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Matthew 8:23-27

23 And when he had entered the ship, his disciples followed him. 24 And behold, there was a great tempest in the sea, so that the ship was covered by the waves: but he was asleep. 25 And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying: Lord, save us; we perish. 26 And he said to them: Why are you fearful, you of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea: and there was a great calm. 27 But the men were astonished, and said: What man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!
