⁷ Jesus said to him: It is again written, You shall not put the Lord your God to the proof.

³⁰ And it came to pass, while he reclined at table with them, that he took bread and blessed; and he broke, and gave it to them. ³¹ And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, and he disappeared from them.

Thou hast the words of eternal life; ⁶⁹ and we believe, and know that thou art the Christ, the Son of God. ⁷⁰ Jesus answered them: Have I not chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? ⁷¹ He spoke of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon; for he was about to deliver him up, being one of the twelve.
