²⁴ No one can serve two masters: for he will either hate the one and love the other; or he will hold to the one, and neglect the other. You can not serve God and riches.

¹⁸ And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying: All authority in heaven and on earth is given to me. ¹⁹ Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations, immersing them (the disciples) into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; ²⁰ teaching them to observe all things whatever I have commanded you: and lo; I am with you all the days, even to the end of the age.

⁶ Jesus said to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through me.

⁴ Adulterers and adulteresses, know you not that the friend ship of the world is enmity to God? Whoever, therefore, will be a friend of the world, is an enemy of God.

⁶ Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you withdraw from every brother that walks disorderly, and not according to the tradition which he received from us.

² And he cried with a strong voice, saying: Babylon the great has fallen, has fallen, and has become the habitation of demons, and the haunt of every unclean spirit, and the resort of every unclean and hateful bird.

⁹ As we said before, so even now I say again, if any one preaches to you any other gospel than that which you have received, let him be accursed. ¹⁰ For, do I now seek the favor of men, or of God? or do I strive to please men? If, indeed, I would still please men, I should not be the servant of Christ. ¹¹ But I make known to you, brethren, that the gospel which is preached by me, is not according to man:

¹⁴ Be not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? What communion has light with darkness? ¹⁵ What agreement has Christ with Belial? What connection has a believer with an unbeliever? ¹⁶ What has a temple of God in common with one of idols? For you are the temple of the living God, as God has said: I will dwell in them, and walk among them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. ¹⁷ For this reason, come out from among them, and separate yourselves, says the Lord, and touch not an unclean person, and I will receive you; ¹⁸ and I will be to you a father, and you shall be to me sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.

²² Who is a liar, but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son.

¹¹ and do not participate in the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them;

⁸ See that no one make you the victims of imposture by means of philosophy and vain deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the rudiments of the world, and not ac cording to Christ:

⁸ And all that dwell upon the earth will worship him, those whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb that was slain from the foundation of the world.

²⁰ I pray, not for these only, but for those also who shall believe on me through their word; ²¹ that they all may be one, as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. ²² And the glory which thou gavest me, I have given them, that they may be one, as we are one; ²³ I in them, and thou ID me, that they may be made perfect in one, that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bondman nor free man, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
