¹⁴ For if you forgive men their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. ¹⁵ But if you forgive not men their offenses, neither will your Father forgive your offenses.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes on him should not perish, but have eternal life.

⁷ Cast all your cares on him, for he cares for you.

¹ Be you, therefore, imitators of God, as beloved children;

³¹ When the Son of man shall come in his own glory, and all the holy angels with him, then will he sit on the throne of his own glory; ³² and all nations shall be gathered before him; and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats. ³³ And he will place the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on his left. ³⁴ Then the King will say to those on his right hand: Come, you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. ³⁵ For I was hungry, and you gave me food; I was thirsty, and you gave- me drink; I was a stranger, and you took me to your houses; ³⁶ naked, and you clothed me; I was sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to me. ³⁷ Then will the righteous answer him, saying: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, and feed thee? or thirsty, and give thee drink? ³⁸ When did we see thee a stranger, and take thee to our home? or naked, and clothe thee? ³⁹ When did we see thee sick, or in prison, and come to thee? ⁴⁰ And the King will answer and say to them: Verily I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me. ⁴¹ Then will he say to those on his left hand: Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. ⁴² For I was hungry, and you gave me no food; I was thirsty, and you gave me no drink; ⁴³ I was a stranger, and you took me not to your houses; naked, and you did not clothe me; I was sick, and in prison, and you did not visit me. ⁴⁴ Then they also will answer, and say: Lord, when did we see thee hungry, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister to thee? ⁴⁵ Then will he answer them, saying: Verily I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it not to one of the least of these, you did it not to me. ⁴⁶ And these shall go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.

³¹ And as you would that men should do to you, do you also in like manner to them.

²³ And whatever you do, do from the soul, as to the Lord, and not to men;

¹ Though I speak with the tongues of men and of an gels, but have not love, I have become as sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. ² And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.

⁸ And if any one provides not for his own, and especially for those of his own house hold, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.

¹⁴ What profit is there, my brethren, if any one say he has faith, and have not works? Can faith save him? ¹⁵ If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, ¹⁶ and any of you say to them, Go in peace, be warmed and be filled, and yet give them not the things that are needful for the body, what does this profit them? ¹⁷ So, also, faith, if it has not works, is dead, being by itself.

⁴ Consider not each one his own gifts, but each one also the gifts of others.

¹⁰ Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, but especially to those who are the household of the faith.

³⁴ A new commandment I give to you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. ³⁵ By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one for another.
