⁶ Jesus said to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through me.

¹² Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying: I am the light of the world; he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

⁸ For by grace you have been saved through the faith; and this matter is not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: ⁹ not by works, lest any one should boast. ¹⁰ For we are his workman ship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God before prepared, that we should walk in them.

⁵ For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
