¹⁵ And he that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death.

²¹ [Though] hand [join] in hand, the evil man shall not be unpunished;
But the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.

¹¹ My son, despise not the chastening of Jehovah;
Neither be weary of his reproof: ¹² For whom Jehovah loveth he reproveth;
Even as a father the son in whom he delighteth.

²⁸ And be not afraid of them that kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

⁶ Whoso sheddeth man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man.

¹⁷ And he that curseth his father or his mother, shall surely be put to death.

⁴¹ Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into the eternal fire which is prepared for the devil and his angels:

¹⁷ Render to no man evil for evil. Take thought for things honorable in the sight of all men. ¹⁸ If it be possible, as much as in you lieth, be at peace with all men. ¹⁹ Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place unto the wrath [of God]: for it is written, Vengeance belongeth unto me; I will recompense, saith the Lord.

²⁵ For he that doeth wrong shall receive again for the wrong that he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
