¹³ Be pleased, O Jehovah, to deliver me:
Make haste to help me, O Jehovah.

¹⁷ But I am poor and needy;
[Yet] the Lord thinketh upon me:
Thou art my help and my deliverer;
Make no tarrying, O my God.

⁷ But Jehovah said unto me, Say not, I am a child; for to whomsoever I shall send thee thou shalt go, and whatsoever I shall command thee thou shalt speak. ⁸ Be not afraid because of them; for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith Jehovah.

²⁵ And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the canker-worm, and the caterpillar, and the palmer-worm, my great army which I sent among you. ²⁶ And ye shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and shall praise the name of Jehovah your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you; and my people shall never be put to shame. ²⁷ And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am Jehovah your God, and there is none else; and my people shall never be put to shame.

¹ And he called unto him his twelve disciples, and gave them authority over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of disease and all manner of sickness.

⁷ If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatsoever ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

⁹ the Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment unto the day of judgment;

³² and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.}

¹⁴ For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under law, but under grace.
¹⁵ What then? shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? God forbid. ¹⁶ Know ye not, that to whom ye present yourselves [as] servants unto obedience, his servants ye are whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? ¹⁷ But thanks be to God, that, whereas ye were servants of sin, ye became obedient from the heart to that form of teaching whereunto ye were delivered; ¹⁸ and being made free from sin, ye became servants of righteousness. ¹⁹ I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye presented your members [as] servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity, even so now present your members [as] servants to righteousness unto sanctification.

¹⁶ Confess therefore your sins one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The supplication of a righteous man availeth much in its working.

¹ For freedom did Christ set us free: stand fast therefore, and be not entangled again in a yoke of bondage.

⁴ I sought Jehovah, and he answered me,
And delivered me from all my fears.

² and he said,
Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, even mine;

¹⁵ And call upon me in the day of trouble:
I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

⁶ Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble,
And he delivered them out of their distresses,

¹⁷ [The righteous] cried, and Jehovah heard,
And delivered them out of all their troubles.
