⁹ Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage; be not affrighted, neither be thou dismayed: for Jehovah thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

³¹ And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

¹⁰ He that is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much: and he that is unrighteous in a very little is unrighteous also in much. ¹¹ If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true [riches]? ¹² And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own?

³² And if ye love them that love you, what thank have ye? for even sinners love those that love them. ³³ And if ye do good to them that do good to you, what thank have ye? for even sinners do the same. ³⁴ And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? even sinners lend to sinners, to receive again as much. ³⁵ But love your enemies, and do [them] good, and lend, never despairing; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be sons of the Most High: for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil. ³⁶ Be ye merciful, even as your Father is merciful. ³⁷ And judge not, and ye shall not be judged: and condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: release, and ye shall be released: ³⁸ give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, shall they give into your bosom. For with what measure ye mete it shall be measured to you again.}
³⁹ And he spake also a parable unto them, { Can the blind guide the blind? shall they not both fall into a pit? ⁴⁰ The disciple is not above his teacher: but every one when he is perfected shall be as his teacher. ⁴¹ And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? ⁴² Or how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me cast out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of thine own eye, and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote that is in thy brother's eye.

²⁶ If any man thinketh himself to be religious, while he bridleth not his tongue but deceiveth his heart, this man's religion is vain.

⁹ lie not one to another; seeing that ye have put off the old man with his doings,

⁵ Be ye free from the love of money; content with such things as ye have: for himself hath said, I will in no wise fail thee, neither will I in any wise forsake thee.

³² He that committeth adultery with a woman is void of understanding:
He doeth it who would destroy his own soul.

²² Say not thou, I will recompense evil:
Wait for Jehovah, and he will save thee.

⁶ Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity,
Than he that is perverse in [his] ways, though he be rich.

⁷ Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. ⁸ For he that soweth unto his own flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth unto the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life.

¹ Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity
Than he that is perverse in his lips and is a fool.

⁹ He that walketh uprightly walketh surely;
But he that perverteth his ways shall be known.

²⁷ Ye have heard that it was said, Thou shalt not commit adultery: ²⁸ but I say unto you, that every one that looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

⁴ [Let] marriage [be] had in honor among all, and [let] the bed [be] undefiled: for fornicators and adulterers God will judge.

²² Lying lips are an abomination to Jehovah;
But they that deal truly are his delight.

¹⁷ To him therefore that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
