¹⁰ Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

²⁸ Have you not known? have you not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. ²⁹ He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength. ³⁰ Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: ³¹ But they that wait on the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

²⁵ For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.

¹ Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it. ² For to us was the gospel preached, as well as to them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. ³ For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world. ⁴ For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. ⁵ And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. ⁶ Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: ⁷ Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. ⁸ For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. ⁹ There remains therefore a rest to the people of God. ¹⁰ For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his. ¹¹ Let us labor therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

²¹ Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest: in ripening time and in harvest you shall rest.

⁷ Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

⁸ I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, LORD, only make me dwell in safety.

¹⁵ For thus said the Lord GOD, the Holy One of Israel; In returning and rest shall you be saved; in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength: and you would not.

²⁹ Take my yoke on you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest to your souls.

³¹ And he said to them, Come you yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

² It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he gives his beloved sleep.

¹⁴ And he said, My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.

²⁸ Come to me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. ²⁹ Take my yoke on you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and you shall find rest to your souls. ³⁰ For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
