²⁷ So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

¹¹ For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, said the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. ¹² Then shall you call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. ¹³ And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.

¹² Therefore all things whatever you would that men should do to you, do you even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

²⁸ For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.

²⁰ For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

¹³ Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Ghost teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

²⁸ There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

⁸ Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:

²¹ He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? ¹⁸ But now has God set the members every one of them in the body, as it has pleased him.

⁴ For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: ⁵ So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. ⁶ Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

⁷ But the LORD said to Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.
