¹⁷ And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt to the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, to a land flowing with milk and honey.

¹⁹ The first of the first fruits of your land you shall bring into the house of the LORD your God. You shall not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.

³ To a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the middle of you; for you are a stiff necked people: lest I consume you in the way.

²⁷ And they told him, and said, We came to the land where you sent us, and surely it flows with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.

¹⁹ And he said to her, Give me, I pray you, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty. And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him.

¹⁰ And the men did so; and took two milk cows, and tied them to the cart, and shut up their calves at home:

²⁷ And you shall have goats' milk enough for your food, for the food of your household, and for the maintenance for your maidens.

⁷ Who goes a warfare any time at his own charges? who plants a vineyard, and eats not of the fruit thereof? or who feeds a flock, and eats not of the milk of the flock?

¹¹ Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing you are dull of hearing. ¹² For when for the time you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. ¹³ For every one that uses milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. ¹⁴ But strong meat belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

⁵ That I may perform the oath which I have sworn to your fathers, to give them a land flowing with milk and honey, as it is this day. Then answered I, and said, So be it, O LORD.

¹³ For every one that uses milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

² I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for till now you were not able to bear it, neither yet now are you able.

¹² For when for the time you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

² As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that you may grow thereby:
