¹³ Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.

¹⁷ But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinks on me: you are my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

⁷ But the LORD said to me, Say not, I am a child: for you shall go to all that I shall send you, and whatever I command you you shall speak. ⁸ Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with you to deliver you, said the LORD.

²⁵ And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. ²⁶ And you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that has dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. ²⁷ And you shall know that I am in the middle of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

¹ And when he had called to him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

⁷ If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you.

⁹ The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust to the day of judgment to be punished:

³² And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

¹⁴ For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under grace. ¹⁵ What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. ¹⁶ Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey; whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness? ¹⁷ But God be thanked, that you were the servants of sin, but you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. ¹⁸ Being then made free from sin, you became the servants of righteousness. ¹⁹ I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as you have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity to iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness to holiness.

¹⁶ Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

¹ Stand fast therefore in the liberty with which Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

⁴ I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

² And he said, The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;

¹⁵ And call on me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.

⁶ Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.

¹⁷ The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
