⁸ This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shall meditate on it day and night, that thou may observe to do according to all that is written in it, for then thou shall make thy way prosperous, and then thou shall have good success.

¹⁵ I will meditate on thy precepts, and have respect for thy ways.

⁵ Indeed have this way to think in you, that also was in Christ Jesus,

¹⁷ So then if any man is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away, behold, all things have become new.

¹⁸ Fear is not in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear holds punishment, and he who is afraid has not been fully perfected in love.

⁸ Be sober, be vigilant. Your opponent the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about seeking whom to devour.

⁶ Be anxious about nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thankfulness make your requests known to God. ⁷ And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. ⁸ Finally brothers, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are commendable, if anything is a virtue, and if anything is praiseworthy, think on these things.

³ Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee, because he trusts in thee.

⁸ Take heed lest there will be any man taking you captive through the love of wisdom and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the rudiments of the world, and not according to Christ.

⁵ casting down imaginations, and every high thing exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought captive into the obedience of the Christ,

⁷ For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but of power, and of love, and of soberness.

² Think on the things above, not the things on the earth.

¹ I beseech you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, your reasonable service. ² And be not conformed to this age, but be ye transformed by the renewal of your mind, for ye to approve what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

⁵ For those who are according to flesh think about the things of the flesh, but those according to Spirit the things of the Spirit. ⁶ For the mentality of the flesh is death, but the mentality of the Spirit is life and peace.
