¹ The earth is LORD's, and the fullness thereof, the world, and those who dwell therein. ² For he has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. ³ Who shall ascend into the hill of LORD? And who shall stand in his holy place? ⁴ He who has clean hands, and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully. ⁵ He shall receive a blessing from LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. ⁶ This is the generation of those who seek after him, who seek thy face, even Jacob. Selah. ⁷ Lift up your heads, O ye gates, and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory will come in. ⁸ Who is the King of glory? ¹² For the word of God is living, and potent, and sharper, above every two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division both of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and discernible of the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
