¹² Therefore all things whatever ye would that men should do to you, so also do ye to them; for this is the law and the prophets.

⁸ Finally, all being of one mind, sympathizing, loving the brethren, tender-hearted, humble-minded; ⁹ not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing; but on the contrary blessing, because to this end ye were called, that ye might inherit blessing. ¹⁰ For he who desires to love life, and to see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips from speaking guile; ¹¹ let him turn away from evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and pursue it.

¹⁵ but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts; ready always to give an answer to every one that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;

¹ JUDGE not, that ye be not judged.

²⁸ And he said to them: Ye know that it is unlawful for a Jew to keep company with, or come to, one of another nation; but God showed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

⁷ And as they continued asking him, raising himself up, he said to them: He that is without sin among you, let him first cast the stone at her.

¹ HIM that is weak in faith receive; not for the decision of disputes. ² For one believes, that he may eat all things; but he that is weak eats herbs. ³ Let not him that eats despise him that eats not; and let not him that eats not judge him that eats; for God received him. ⁴ Who art thou that judgest another's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. But he shall be made to stand; for God is able to make him stand.

² with all lowliness and meekness, with long-suffering, bearing with one another in love;

¹¹ But as it is, I wrote to you not to keep company, if any one called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner, with such a one not even to eat.

¹⁰ If any one comes to you, and brings not this teaching, receive him not into your house, and do not bid him good speed; ¹¹ for he that bids him good speed shares in his evil deeds.

¹ I CHARGE thee before God, and Christ Jesus who will judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom, ² preach the word; apply thyself in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and teaching.
