¹⁴ And soldiers also asked him, saying: What shall we also do? And he said to them: Do violence to no one, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.

⁴ for he is God's minister to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he bears not the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger for wrath to him that does evil.

³ Endure hardship with me, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. ⁴ No one serving as a soldier entangles himself with the affairs of life, that he may please him who chose him to be a soldier.
