¹² But when ye come into the house, salute it. ¹³ And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it; but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. ¹⁴ And whoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye go out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet. ¹⁵ Verily I say to you, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.

¹ AND there were drawing near to him all the publicans and the sinners to hear him. ² And the Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying: This man receives sinners, and eats with them. ³ And he spoke this parable to them, saying: ⁴ What man of you, having a hundred sheep, and having lost one of them, does not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he finds it? ⁵ And having found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. ⁶ And coming home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them: Rejoice with me; because I found my sheep which was lost. ⁷ I say to you, that so there will be joy in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety and nine just persons, who have no need of repentance.

¹¹ But as it is, I wrote to you not to keep company, if any one called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner, with such a one not even to eat. ¹² For what have I to do with judging those also who are without? Do not ye judge those who are within? ¹³ But those who are without God judges. Therefore put away that wicked man from among yourselves.

⁶ Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother walking disorderly, and not after the tradition which they received from us.

⁸ For by grace ye are saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; ⁹ not of works, lest any one should boast.

¹⁵ But if thy brother shall sin against thee, go show him his fault between thee and him alone, If he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

¹ JUDGE not, that ye be not judged. ² For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you. ³ And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye? ⁴ Or how wilt thou say to thy brother: Let me cast out the mote from thine eye; and behold, the beam is in thine own eye? ⁵ Hypocrite! first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then thou wilt see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

¹ IT is commonly reported that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not even among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife. ² And ye are puffed up, and did not rather mourn, that he who did this deed might be taken away from among you. ³ For I verily, as absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged, as though I were present, concerning him who has so done this; ⁴ in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, ye being gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, ⁵ to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. ⁶ Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? ⁷ Cleanse out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, according as ye are unleavened. For our passover, Christ, was sacrificed for us; ⁸ therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. ⁹ I wrote to you, in my letter, not to keep company with fornicators; ¹⁰ yet not, altogether, with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or idolaters; for then ye must needs go out of the world. ¹¹ But as it is, I wrote to you not to keep company, if any one called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner, with such a one not even to eat. ¹² For what have I to do with judging those also who are without? Do not ye judge those who are within? ¹³ But those who are without God judges. Therefore put away that wicked man from among yourselves.

¹⁹ Avenge not yourselves, beloved, but give place to the wrath [of God]. For it is written: To me belongs vengeance; I will recompense, saith the Lord.

²⁸ And he said to them: Ye know that it is unlawful for a Jew to keep company with, or come to, one of another nation; but God showed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

¹¹ for he that bids him good speed shares in his evil deeds.

¹⁴ And if any one obeys not our word by this letter, mark that man, and keep not company with him, that he may be shamed.

⁹ Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor the effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, ¹⁰ nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. ¹¹ And such were some of you; but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

¹ BRETHREN, even if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye who are spiritual restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

¹⁰ If any one comes to you, and brings not this teaching, receive him not into your house, and do not bid him good speed;

⁹ But avoid foolish questionings, and genealogies, and strifes, and contentions about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. ¹⁰ A man that causes divisions, after a first and second admonition, avoid; ¹¹ knowing that he that is such is perverted, and sins, being self-condemned.

¹¹ But as it is, I wrote to you not to keep company, if any one called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner, with such a one not even to eat.

¹⁷ Now I beseech you, brethren, to mark those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the teaching which ye learned, and avoid them.
