John 21:17

17 He says to him the third time: Simon, son of Jonah, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said to him: Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus says to him: Feed my sheep.

John 10:14

14 I am the good shepherd; and I know mine, and am known by mine,

Matthew 10:16

16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; be therefore wise as serpents, and simple as doves.

Matthew 7:15

15 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheeps' clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.

John 10:1-16

1 VERILY, verily, I say to you: He that enters not through the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. 2 But he that enters in through the door is a shepherd of the sheep. 3 To him the porter opens, and the sheep hear his voice; and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. 4 And when he has put forth all his own, he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice. 5 And a stranger they will not follow, but will flee from him; because they know not the voice of strangers. 6 This parable spoke Jesus to them; but they understood not what things they were which he spoke to them. 7 Therefore said Jesus to them again: Verily, verily, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. 8 All who came before me are thieves and robbers; but the sheep did not hear them. 9 I am the door. If any one enter in through me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out and find pasture. 10 The thief comes not but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I came that they may have life, and that they may have it abundantly. 11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 12 But he that is a hireling, and not a shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, sees the wolf coming, and leaves the sheep, and flees; and the wolf catches them, and scatters the sheep. 13 The hireling flees, because he is a hireling, and cares not for the sheep. 14 I am the good shepherd; and I know mine, and am known by mine, 15 as the Father knows me, and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. 16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold. Them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one flock, one shepherd.

John 10:11

11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

Matthew 9:36

36 And seeing the multitudes, he was moved with compassion for them, because they were harassed, and scattered, as sheep having no shepherd.

Luke 15:4-7

4 What man of you, having a hundred sheep, and having lost one of them, does not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he finds it? 5 And having found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And coming home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them: Rejoice with me; because I found my sheep which was lost. 7 I say to you, that so there will be joy in heaven over one sinner that repents, more than over ninety and nine just persons, who have no need of repentance.
