²⁹ And Jesus answered him: First is, Hear, O Israel; the Lord is our God, the Lord is one;

³² And the scribe said to him: Well, Teacher; thou saidst truly that he is one, and there is no other beside him;

³⁰ I and the Father are one.

⁸ I am the Alpha and the Omega, saith the Lord God, he who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.
