³¹ Take not thought therefore, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewith shall we be clothed? ³² For after all these do the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these. ³³ But seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these shall be added to you.

¹⁹ Lay not up for yourselves treasures on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal. ²⁰ But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. ²¹ For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

¹⁰ He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much; and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

¹ AND looking up, he saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. ² And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. ³ And he said: Of a truth I say to you, that this poor widow cast in more than all. ⁴ For all these, out of their abundance, cast into the offerings; but she, out of her want, cast in all the living that she had.

³⁵ In all ways I showed you that, so laboring, ye ought to assist the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that he himself said: It is more blessed to give than to receive.

⁴¹ And sitting over against the treasury, he beheld how the people cast money into the treasury; and many that were rich cast in much. ⁴² And one poor widow came, and cast in two mites, which are a farthing. ⁴³ And calling to him his disciples, he said to them: Verily I say to you, that this poor widow cast in more than all who are casting into the treasury. ⁴⁴ For all cast in out of their abundance; but she, out of her want, cast in all that she had, her whole living.

³⁸ Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, shall they give into your bosom. For with the same measure with which ye mete it shall be measured to you again.

⁷ but each as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity, for God loves a cheerful giver.
