Most gladly therefore will I rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may abide upon me. ¹⁰ Wherefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then I am powerful.

²⁸ And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

² Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into various temptations; ³ knowing that the proving of your faith works patience. ⁴ But let patience have a perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing.
