²⁸ And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They toil not, nor spin; ²⁹ and I say to you, that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. ³⁰ And if God so clothes the grass of the field, which to-day is, and to-morrow is cast into the oven, will he not much more you, ye of little faith?

¹⁹ because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God manifested it to them. ²⁰ For, from the creation of the world, his invisible things are clearly seen, being perceived by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.

¹⁹ For the earnest longing of the creation is waiting for the revelation of the sons of God. ²⁰ For the creation was made subject to vanity, not willingly (but by reason of him who made it subject), in hope ²¹ that the creation itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. ²² For we know that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now.
