¹¹ And it came to pass, as he was going to Jerusalem, that he went through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. ¹² And as he was entering into a certain village, there met him ten leprous men, who stood afar off. ¹³ And they lifted up their voice, saying: Jesus, Master, have mercy on us. ¹⁴ And seeing it, he said to them: Go, show yourselves to the priests. And it came to pass that, as they went, they were cleansed. ¹⁵ And one of them, seeing that he was healed, turned back, with a loud voice glorifying God, ¹⁶ and fell down on his face at his feet, giving thanks to him; and he was a Samaritan. ¹⁷ And Jesus answering said: Were not the ten cleansed? And where are the nine? ¹⁸ Were none found returning to give glory to God, except this stranger? ¹⁹ And he said to him: Arise, and go; thy faith has made thee whole.

¹² Again therefore Jesus spoke to them, saying: I am the light of the world; he that follows me shall not walk in the darkness, but shall have the light of life.

¹ BRETHREN, even if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye who are spiritual restore such a one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ; and no longer do I live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live in the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

¹⁷ Charge those who are rich in this world, that they be not high-minded, nor place their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but in God, who gives us all things richly for enjoyment; ¹⁸ that they do good, be rich in good works, be free in imparting, willing to communicate; ¹⁹ laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on the true life.

⁶ Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. ⁷ And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

²⁸ for in him we live, and move, and have our being; as also some of your own poets have said: For his offspring also are we.

²⁸ Wherefore, receiving a kingdom which can not be shaken, let us have grace whereby we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and godly fear;

¹⁸ In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus, toward you.
