Bible verses about "faithful" | ABU

Matthew 6:31-33

31 Take not thought therefore, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewith shall we be clothed? 32 For after all these do the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these shall be added to you.

1 Corinthians 13:4-7

4 Love suffers long, is kind; love envies not; love vaunts not itself, is not puffed up, 5 does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not its own, is not easily provoked, imputes no evil; 6 rejoices not at unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Revelation 2:10

10 Fear not the things which thou art about to suffer. Behold, the Devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye will have affliction ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life.

Hebrews 11:1

1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Philippians 1:1-30

1 PAUL and Timothy, servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the overseers and deacons: 2 Grace to you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 I thank my God on every remembrance of you,— 4 always, in every supplication of mine, making the supplication for you all with joy,— 5 for your fellowship in respect to the gospel from the first day until now; 6 being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. 7 As it is just for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; being all of you, both in my bonds, and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, partakers of the grace with me. 8 For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all, with the tender affection of Jesus Christ. 9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more, in knowledge and all discernment; 10 in order that ye may approve the things that are most excellent, that ye may be pure and without offense unto the day of Christ; 11 being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which is by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God. 12 But I desire that ye should know, brethren, that the things which befell me have resulted rather in the furtherance of the gospel; 13 so that my bonds have become manifest in Christ in all the Praetorium, and to all the rest; 14 and that the greater part of the brethren, made confident in the Lord by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear. 15 Some indeed preach Christ also from envy and strife, but some also from good will; 16 the one, out of love, knowing that I am set for the defense of the gospel; 17 the other, out of contentiousness, proclaim Christ not with pure intent, supposing that they shall add affliction to my bonds. 18 What then? Notwithstanding, in every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is proclaimed; and therein I rejoice, yea, and shall rejoice. 19 For I know that this will turn out for my salvation, through your supplication, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ; 20 according to my earnest expectation and hope, that I shall in nothing be put to shame, but that with all boldness, as always, so also now Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether by life, or by death. 21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. 22 But if it be to live in the flesh, this to me is fruit of labor; and which I shall choose I know not; 23 but am constrained by the two, having the desire to depart, and to be with Christ, for it is far better; 24 but to remain in the flesh is more needful for your sakes. 25 And being persuaded of this, I know that I shall remain, and shall continue with you all for your furtherance and joy in the faith; 26 that your glorying may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me, through my coming to you again. 27 Only let your deportment be as becomes the gospel of Christ; that whether I come and see you, or remain absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; 28 and in nothing terrified by the adversaries; which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God. 29 Because to you it was granted in behalf of Christ,—not only to believe on him,—but in his behalf to suffer also; 30 having the same conflict as ye saw in me, and now hear of in me.

1 Corinthians 10:13

13 There has no temptation taken you but such as belongs to man; and God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted beyond what ye are able, but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

1 John 1:9

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous, that he may forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Luke 16:10

10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much; and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
