²¹ who will transform the body of our humiliation, that it may be conformed to the body of his glory, according to the working with which he is able also to subject all things to himself.

¹ FOR we know that, if our earthly house of the tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. ² For in this we groan, longing to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven; ³ seeing that we shall be found clothed, not naked. ⁴ For we who are in the tabernacle groan, being burdened; in that we do not desire to be unclothed, but to be clothed upon, that what is mortal might be swallowed up by life. ⁵ Now he who wrought us out for this very thing is God, who also gave to us the earnest of the Spirit.

³ And though I bestow all my goods in food, and though I give up my body that I may be burned, and have not love, it profits me nothing.
