  6 H559 ויאמר And he said, H8085 שׁמעו Hear H4994 נא now H1697 דברי my words: H518 אם If H1961 יהיה there be H5030 נביאכם a prophet H3068 יהוה among you, the LORD H4759 במראה him in a vision, H413 אליו unto H3045 אתודע will make myself known H2472 בחלום unto him in a dream. H1696 אדבר׃ will speak

  1 H3588 כי If H6965 יקום there arise H7130 בקרבך among H5030 נביא you a prophet, H176 או or H2492 חלם a dreamer H2472 חלום of dreams, H5414 ונתן and giveth H413 אליך and giveth H226 אות thee a sign H176 או or H4159 מופת׃ a wonder,

  3 H3808 לא Thou shalt not H8085 תשׁמע hearken H413 אל unto H1697 דברי the words H5030 הנביא prophet, H1931 ההוא of that H176 או or H413 אל   H2492 חולם dreamer H2472 החלום of dreams: H1931 ההוא that H3588 כי for H5254 מנסה proveth H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H853 אתכם   H3045 לדעת you, to know H3426 הישׁכם whether H157 אהבים ye love H853 את   H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God H3605 בכל with all H3824 לבבכם your heart H3605 ובכל and with all H5315 נפשׁכם׃ your soul.

  5 H5030 והנביא prophet, H1931 ההוא And that H176 או or H2492 חלם dreamer H2472 החלום of dreams, H1931 ההוא that H4191 יומת shall be put to death; H3588 כי because H1696 דבר he hath spoken H5627 סרה to turn away H5921 על from H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיכם your God, H3318 המוציא   H853 אתכם   H776 מארץ of the land H4714 מצרים of Egypt, H6299 והפדך and redeemed H1004 מבית you out of the house H5650 עבדים of bondage, H5080 להדיחך to thrust H4480 מן of the land H1870 הדרך the way H834 אשׁר which H6680 צוך commanded H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H1980 ללכת thee to walk H1197 בה ובערת   H7451 הרע   H7130 מקרבך׃ from the midst

  15 H5030 נביא unto thee a Prophet H7130 מקרבך from the midst H251 מאחיך of thee, of thy brethren, H3644 כמני like unto me; H6965 יקים will raise up H3068 לך יהוה The LORD H430 אלהיך thy God H413 אליו unto H8085 תשׁמעון׃ him ye shall hearken;

  18 H5030 נביא a Prophet H6965 אקים I will raise them up H1992 להם   H7130 מקרב from among H251 אחיהם their brethren, H3644 כמוך like unto thee, H5414 ונתתי and will put H1697 דברי my words H6310 בפיו in his mouth; H1696 ודבר and he shall speak H413 אליהם unto H853 את   H3605 כל them all H834 אשׁר that H6680 אצונו׃ I shall command

  20 H389 אך But H5030 הנביא the prophet, H834 אשׁר which H2102 יזיד shall presume H1696 לדבר to speak H1697 דבר a word H8034 בשׁמי in my name, H853 את   H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא I have not H6680 צויתיו commanded H1696 לדבר him to speak, H834 ואשׁר or that H1696 ידבר shall speak H8034 בשׁם in the name H430 אלהים gods, H312 אחרים of other H4191 ומת shall die. H5030 הנביא prophet H1931 ההוא׃ even that

  22 H834 אשׁר When H1696 ידבר speaketh H5030 הנביא a prophet H8034 בשׁם in the name H3068 יהוה of the LORD, H3808 ולא not, H1961 יהיה follow H1697 הדבר if the thing H3808 ולא nor H935 יבא come to pass, H1931 הוא that H1697 הדבר the thing H834 אשׁר which H3808 לא hath not H1696 דברו spoken, H3068 יהוה the LORD H2087 בזדון it presumptuously: H1696 דברו hath spoken H5030 הנביא the prophet H3808 לא thou shalt not H1481 תגור be afraid H4480 ממנו׃ of

  10 H3808 ולא not H6965 קם And there arose H5030 נביא a prophet H5750 עוד since H3478 בישׂראל in Israel H4872 כמשׁה like unto Moses, H834 אשׁר whom H3045 ידעו knew H3069 יהוה   H6440 פנים face H413 אל to H6440 פנים׃ face,

  8 H7971 וישׁלח sent H3068 יהוה That the LORD H376 אישׁ   H5030 נביא a prophet H413 אל unto H1121 בני the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H559 ויאמר which said H3541 להם כה unto them, Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD H430 אלהי God H3478 ישׂראל of Israel, H595 אנכי I H5927 העליתי   H853 אתכם   H4714 ממצרים   H3318 ואציא   H853 אתכם   H1004 מבית out of the house H5650 עבדים׃ of bondage;

  20 H3045 וידע knew H3605 כל And all H3478 ישׂראל Israel H1835 מדן   H5704 ועד even to H884 באר שׁבע Beer-sheba H3588 כי that H539 נאמן established H8050 שׁמואל Samuel H5030 לנביא a prophet H3068 ליהוה׃ of the LORD.

  9 H6440 לפנים (Formerly H3478 בישׂראל in Israel, H3541 כה thus H559 אמר he spoke, H376 האישׁ when a man H1980 בלכתו went H1875 לדרושׁ to inquire H430 אלהים of God, H1980 לכו Come, H1980 ונלכה and let us go H5704 עד to H7203 הראה   H3588 כי for H5030 לנביא a Prophet H3117 היום now H7121 יקרא called H6440 לפנים was formerly H7203 הראה׃  

  5 H310 אחר   H3651 כן   H935 תבוא thou shalt come H1389 גבעת to the hill H430 האלהים of God, H834 אשׁר where H8033 שׁם where H5333 נצבי the garrison H6430 פלשׁתים of the Philistines: H1961 ויהי and it shall come to pass, H935 כבאך when thou art come H8033 שׁם thither H5892 העיר to the city, H6293 ופגעת that thou shalt meet H2256 חבל a company H5030 נביאים of prophets H3381 ירדים coming down H1116 מהבמה from the high place H6440 ולפניהם before H5035 נבל with a psaltery, H8596 ותף and a tabret, H2485 וחליל and a pipe, H3658 וכנור and a harp, H1992 והמה them; and they H5012 מתנבאים׃ shall prophesy:

  12 H6030 ויען answered H376 אישׁ And one H8033 משׁם of the same place H559 ויאמר and said, H4310 ומי But who H1 אביהם their father? H5921 על   H3651 כן   H1961 היתה it became H4912 למשׁל a proverb, H1571 הגם also H7586 שׁאול Saul H5030 בנבאים׃ among the prophets?

  20 H7971 וישׁלח sent H7586 שׁאול And Saul H4397 מלאכים messengers H3947 לקחת to take H853 את   H1732 דוד David: H7200 וירא and when they saw H853 את   H3862 להקת the company H5030 הנביאים of the prophets H5012 נבאים prophesying, H8050 ושׁמואל and Samuel H5975 עמד standing H5324 נצב appointed H5921 עליהם over H1961 ותהי was H5921 על upon H4397 מלאכי the messengers H7586 שׁאול of Saul, H7307 רוח them, the Spirit H430 אלהים of God H5012 ויתנבאו prophesied.   5 H559 ויאמר said H1410 גד Gad H5030 הנביא And the prophet H413 אל unto H1732 דוד David, H3808 לא not H3427 תשׁב Abide H4686 במצודה in the hold; H1980 לך depart, H935 ובאת and get H776 לך ארץ thee into the land H3063 יהודה of Judah.   6 H7592 וישׁאל inquired H7586 שׁאול And when Saul H3068 ביהוה of the LORD, H3808 ולא him not, H6030 ענהו answered H3068 יהוה the LORD H1571 גם neither H2472 בחלמות by dreams, H1571 גם nor H224 באורים by Urim, H1571 גם nor H5030 בנביאם׃ by prophets.

  15 H559 ויאמר said H8050 שׁמואל And Samuel H413 אל to H7586 שׁאול Saul, H4100 למה Why H7264 הרגזתני hast thou disquieted H5927 להעלות   H853 אתי   H559 ויאמר answered, H7586 שׁאול And Saul H6887 צר distressed; H3966 לי מאד I am sore H6430 ופלשׁתים for the Philistines H3898 נלחמים make war H430 בי ואלהים against me, and God H5493 סר is departed H5921 מעלי from H3808 ולא me no H6030 ענני me, and answereth H5750 עוד more, H1571 גם neither H3027 ביד by H5030 הנביאם prophets, H1571 גם nor H2472 בחלמות by dreams: H7121 ואקראה therefore I have called H3045 לך להודיעני thee, that thou mayest make known H4100 מה unto me what H6213 אעשׂה׃ I shall do.

  2 H559 ויאמר said H4428 המלך That the king H413 אל unto H5416 נתן Nathan H5030 הנביא the prophet, H7200 ראה See H4994 נא now, H595 אנכי I H3427 יושׁב dwell H1004 בבית in a house H730 ארזים of cedar, H727 וארון but the ark H430 האלהים of God H3427 ישׁב dwelleth H8432 בתוך within H3407 היריעה׃ curtains.

  25 H7971 וישׁלח And he sent H3027 ביד by the hand H5416 נתן of Nathan H5030 הנביא the prophet; H7121 ויקרא and he called H853 את   H8034 שׁמו his name H3041 ידידיה Jedidiah, H5668 בעבור because H3068 יהוה׃ of the LORD.

  11 H6965 ויקם was up H1732 דוד For when David H1242 בבקר in the morning, H1697 ודבר the word H3068 יהוה of the LORD H1961 היה came H413 אל unto H1410 גד Gad, H5030 הנביא the prophet H2374 חזה seer, H1732 דוד David's H559 לאמר׃ saying,

  8 H6659 וצדוק But Zadok H3548 הכהן the priest, H1141 ובניהו and Benaiah H1121 בן the son H3077 יהוידע of Jehoiada, H5416 ונתן and Nathan H5030 הנביא the prophet, H8096 ושׁמעי and Shimei, H7472 ורעי and Rei, H1368 והגבורים and the mighty men H834 אשׁר which H1732 לדוד to David, H3808 לא not H1961 היו were H5973 עם with H138 אדניהו׃ Adonijah.

  10 H853 ואת   H5416 נתן But Nathan H5030 הנביא the prophet, H1141 ובניהו and Benaiah, H853 ואת   H1368 הגבורים and the mighty men, H853 ואת   H8010 שׁלמה and Solomon H251 אחיו his brother, H3808 לא not. H7121 קרא׃ he called

  22 H2009 והנה And, lo, H5750 עודנה while she yet H1696 מדברת talked H5973 עם with H4428 המלך the king, H5416 ונתן Nathan H5030 הנביא the prophet H935 בא׃ also came in.
