  15 H7971 וישׁלח sent H7586 שׁאול And Saul H853 את   H4397 המלאכים the messengers H7200 לראות to see H853 את   H1732 דוד David, H559 לאמר saying, H5927 העלו   H853 אתו   H4296 במטה me in the bed, H413 אלי to H4191 להמתו׃ that I may slay

  16 H935 ויבאו were come in, H4397 המלאכים And when the messengers H2009 והנה behold, H8655 התרפים an image H413 אל in H4296 המטה the bed, H3523 וכביר with a pillow H5795 העזים of goats' H4763 מראשׁתיו׃ for his bolster.

  23 H3985 וימאן But he refused, H559 ויאמר and said, H3808 לא I will not H398 אכל eat. H4191 תמות׃ shalt surely die.

  10 H6213 נעשׂה Let us make H4994 נא I pray thee, H5944 עלית chamber, H7023 קיר on the wall; H6996 קטנה a little H7760 ונשׂים and let us set H8033 לו שׁם for him there H4296 מטה a bed, H7979 ושׁלחן and a table, H3678 וכסא and a stool, H4501 ומנורה and a candlestick: H1961 והיה and it shall be, H935 בבאו when he cometh H413 אלינו to H5493 יסור us, that he shall turn in H8033 שׁמה׃ thither.

  21 H5927 ותעל And she went up, H7901 ותשׁכבהו and laid H5921 על him on H4296 מטת the bed H376 אישׁ of the man H430 האלהים of God, H5462 ותסגר and shut H1157 בעדו upon H3318 ותצא׃ him, and went out.

  11 H3947 ותקח took H3090 יהושׁבעת But Jehoshabeath, H1323 בת the daughter H4428 המלך of the king, H853 את   H3101 יואשׁ Joash H1121 בן the son H274 אחזיהו of Ahaziah, H1589 ותגנב and stole H853 אתו   H8432 מתוך him from among H1121 בני sons H4428 המלך the king's H4191 המומתים that were slain, H5414 ותתן and put H853 אתו   H853 ואת   H3243 מינקתו him and his nurse H2315 בחדר in a bedchamber. H4296 המטות in a bedchamber.   14 H1817 הדלת the door H5437 תסוב turneth H5921 על upon H6735 צירה his hinges, H6102 ועצל so the slothful H5921 על upon H4296 מטתו׃ his bed.

  7 H2009 הנה Behold H4296 מטתו his bed, H8010 שׁלשׁלמה   H8346 שׁשׁים threescore H1368 גברים valiant men H5439 סביב about H1368 לה מגברי it, of the valiant H3478 ישׂראל׃ of Israel.

  41 H3427 וישׁבת And satest H5921 על upon H4296 מטה bed, H3520 כבודה a stately H7979 ושׁלחן and a table H6186 ערוך prepared H6440 לפניה before H7004 וקטרתי mine incense H8081 ושׁמני and mine oil. H7760 שׂמת thou hast set H5921 עליה׃ it, whereupon

  12 H3541 כה Thus H559 אמר saith H3068 יהוה the LORD; H834 כאשׁר As H5337 יציל taketh H7462 הרעה the shepherd H6310 מפי out of the mouth H738 הארי of the lion H8147 שׁתי two H3767 כרעים legs, H176 או or H915 בדל a piece H241 אזן of an ear; H3651 כן so H5337 ינצלו be taken out H1121 בני shall the children H3478 ישׂראל of Israel H3427 הישׁבים that dwell H8111 בשׁמרון in Samaria H6285 בפאת in the corner H4296 מטה of a bed, H1833 ובדמשׁק and in Damascus H6210 ערשׂ׃ a couch.

  4 H7901 השׁכבים That lie H5921 על upon H4296 מטות beds H8127 שׁן of ivory, H5628 וסרחים and stretch H5921 על themselves upon H6210 ערשׂותם their couches, H398 ואכלים and eat H3733 כרים the lambs H6629 מצאן out of the flock, H5695 ועגלים and the calves H8432 מתוך out of the midst H4770 מרבק׃ of the stall;
